FA Cup Final - 18/05 1700hrs

Watford have announced there ticket sales - start next Wednesday. They have been allocated the WEST Side.

Everyone i know is going - this may drop to non season ticket holders, but i doubt it.....its the FA cup final!!

You could be right, I forgot about those who had the foresight and chose to miss a game on the basis there a bigger game on the horizon. One that will actually cost more to attend.

Same with us. 5 of us going who didn't do the semi. Was a gamble which fortunately paid off. All staying over. Only so far the money can stretch.

Ouch - somehow I think there might be a dig somewhere in that comment! Can't be aimed at me though as I was at the semi ;)

On a serious note, going off the amount of regular and semi-regular match-goers who didn't attend the semi-final, I actually think we did really well to shift something in the region of 28,000 tickets. We've said that we don't have the huge national/international fanbase that United and Liverpool have to step in if some of the regulars don't go but thousands and thousands did take up a lot of the slack.
 
My sense is thetbdemand for the FA Cup Final is similar to the League Cup Final. We have similar numbers wanting to go from our Supportees Club FWIW.

For the LC Final we sold our 33,500 allocation and probably had 40k Blues in the ground, with several thousand in the neutral / FA blocks and Club Wembley.

Love how open Watford are about there ticket sales , saying how many are in each bracket if only our club would do the same !

We had 16 of us go to the EFL Cup final on our minibus, 3 of that 16 went to the FA Cup semifinal.

However, we are looking at how we can get a bigger bus for the FA Cup final as we have around 20 wanting to come.
 
If anybody needs somewhere to park their minibus/coaches looking for parking Wealdstone FC are again offering their ground and have spare capacity for a couple more coaches. I know a few on here have been before and loved it, James has asked me to mention on here. PM for contact details.

This is Watford's split:
The first batch of tickets will go on sale at 9am on Wednesday, April 17, but supporters will only be able to purchase tickets within their own cup final ticket purchasing group, which are as follows:

FA Cup Final Group A: includes current Season Ticket Holders only (c 13,500)

FA Cup Final Group B: includes match ticket buyers in Home Groups A & B and Away Group B (c. 8,500)

FA Cup Final Group C: includes match ticket buyers in Home Group C and Away Group D that have two or more ticket purchases assigned to Fan ID (c. 22,000)

FA Cup Final Group D: includes match ticket buyers in Home Group C and Away Group D that have only one ticket purchase assigned to Fan ID (c. 44,000)

FA Cup Final Group E: includes Home Group D (Season Ticket holders buying one extra ticket for someone already on the ticketing database)

FA Cup Final Group F: includes all supporters on the ticketing database whose last ticket purchase was before July 2014

Furthermore, the 1881 Movement will once again be administrating the sale of a block of seats towards the back of Blocks 133-135 in the lower tier.

Yeah, they did it for the semi-final as well and it looked like it worked well. What I find interesting is that when 1894 wanted to do one further towards the back of the lower tier at Wembley for a previous game we had the kibosh put on it due to H&S or something about blocking the view of disabled fans. I assumed it was a Wembley decision at the time and we were told we had to do it at the front which we've now done on several occasions but while that's good visually for flags, etc, it makes it harder to generate an atmosphere. In any case, we probably wouldn't get a great deal of interest for a singing block further back for the FA Cup Final as the tickets beyond the front 10 rows or so are priced at £115 each!
