This is THE most important match of the season so far, don't leave your voice at home! We need every man on the pitch playing as if their life is depending on it. but most importantly we need a collective voice in the stadium. I can't go tonight but I want to here are ear splitting and by syphilis crowd an ear splitting raucous cacophony of noise from every part of the stadium! I want to hear it, I want to feel the hairs standing up on the back of my neck fellow blues when we do the spuds tonight. Sing it loud and proud, we supporters can and will geto boys in blue over the line!

Come on you Bertie bitter massive council house empty seat dwellers, do it loud and proud or don't bother turning up!

This isn't note sombre play in the London West end where one politely claps, this is fuckin' football at its finest! An 'Emptyhad' amphitheatre where cockerels are there to be plucked, blood and guts n' all. And then pick up their bones and send them crowing cockerknee cockrels back darn saath, with fuck all left to crow about!... We can do it we really can!

Pump it up!!!!!

A few eye of the needle passes surfaced at the weekend, one notably at pace to meg one of the palace players. When his spider senses are on, magic happens...

Kind of agree, however last year was a disgrace, any level of that this evening and Uefa won’t be getting my money next year!
City will get your money and your support, UEFA will get your contempt and your boos.

I don't think we'll see a City side tonight who go at it like Liverpool, or Spurs in the 1st leg (or even United to an extent against Barca 1st leg) b'cos that's not how City play and not how they've played for 2 seasons or so.

Yes we'll go for the early goal, as we always do, but in our own controlled manner. We'll dictate the pace of the game. I really can't predict how Spurs will play - if i had to guess, they'll be scared of playing hard b'cos we're strong at home so i think they'll go into their shell early on.

I'd say strongest team available but i think Pep might have something up his sleeve....

Bit of height, in Eddie up front ? ;-)

I think the spuds might supprise us tonight by going for it from the off to try and catch us off guard, we need to be focused from the first minute and no tarting about at the back as Son and Moura are quite nippy.

Work hard or not, another quarter final exit is failure. This team is capable of winning the competition, hence why we are favourites. Not getting to one semi final would be disappointing. I won’t let it bother me to much though, I just want the prem.
Is it fuck failure, spurs are not a shit side, and in a cup competition a good team can beat a great team, even over 2 legs. Hopefully this remains a hypothetical debate

Course they work hard but we should be at least competing to win this comp when we are the favourites. To get knocked out by spurs would make us look bad in the public eye. Not a team we should lose to
Grow up, I care about City winning, not what the fucking public think. My energy will be going into full and loud support for the team I love, not into calling people failures for something that hopefully will not happen. And of course the favourites win every football match, every horse race etc. Fucking hell

I genuinely believe that this Spurs side can be shook up to the point of panic. If Sergio brings his A game and nets early and the lads follow up with another, we may be able to roll them up completely.

My inner pessimist keeps trying to tell me that we will dominate play but fail to capitalize on our opportunities and Spurs will catch us napping.

3-1 to City with Spurs getting a late goal just to raise our collective blood pressure.

Why so damn defensive?

It would be a failure to lose to spurs and fail in the CL yet again. No way of getting around it. Saying they work hard? This isn't a kids team here this is a team stacked with talent and being talked about as a goat PL team.. You can't be thought of like that and lose to spurs.. You just can't. Be no excuse for it

The owners want CL glory... To lose again would be devastating
