He probably does, it'll be interesting to see whether Guardiola starts him instead of Dinho if both are available. If it were up to me I'd go with Ilkay, with Dinho possibly coming on to see out the game if we had the necessary goals. But silky Ilkay does.
I'd switch Laporte and Stones around in that line up tbh, to get them on their natural sides.Eddy,
Walker, laporte, stones, mendy
Fern
Sterling, bernardo, kev, Sane,
Aguero
Is our strongest team imo and what I'd start with.

City will get your money and your support, UEFA will get your contempt and your boos.

I think it's a toss up between Dave and Bernado to play more centrally. If we are going with out and wingers that is. Your strongest 11 may not be your strongest formation and that makes it difficult to put names down because there is always room for debate somewhere.
As much as I love Dave, I think Bernado would be better than him in current form in the same position but we haven't really seen a lot of that this season. Sane has been on the bench a lot which suggests he sees bernado as a wide player, in which case sane doesnt get in my top 11
I wouldn't mind seeing that if we knew Spurs were going to play 3 at the back and we were matching up against it. Don't think it's worth doing if they're playing a 4-5-1 and it leaves us with a man less in midfield.Interesting.
I have a sneaky feeling Pep might start both Aguero and Jesus tonight.
As much as i adore dave i would rather have raz and sane,we really need to attack down the wings,it's a strong point of ours and we should use it imo
Sterling showed in the last game that Trippier is there to be got at and in behind. Put Raz up against him again but with Mendy and the space will be there all night unless Spurs get a mid over to help Trippier(probably Sissoko) which in turn will give Dave and Kev the extra room to pick them apart.
That was half the problem in the first leg that Raz didn't attack a very average defender enough because he kept coming inside. We could terrorise both their fullbacks tonight if we go for it.
Pep will definitely go with inverted wingers once again even more so with Mendy being fit.

He took Silva off after 65 mins which indicates that he was rested for tonight.
We might even score from a corner.
Which makes zero sense as they've played together before and had no problems. Mendy can just stay back more and do his job defensively. He did it well on Sunday
