Don’t think it was a sell out an Anfield last week, they seemed to ignore Spurs playing in a half empty Wembley all season. Arsenal are as fair weather as you like and don’t turn up when they spit their dummies when they don’t like the football they are getting. It doesn’t fit in with their agenda though.
It wasn't. Juve and Barca the only teams to sell out so far from the 6 quarter final games and Barca barely sold out a reduced capacity.

On the tube coming back from Palace some lad sat next to me started a conversation with, have you been to palace?

Yes was my reply, he then said Selhurst Park a good ground, I said not really, we demolished a better one at Maine Road. He then pipes up, well at least you could sell Maine Road out.

I then asked him if he was just a dickhead or did he work at it? That was the end of the conversation until his stop came, when as he was walking off he turned and said, I am a scouser as if it was some sort of trophy
As if you hadn't already figured that out.

If anyone needs any more proof of the regular agenda against City from MEN (often just to get more clicks, but it still needs to be stamped out by the club).

As testified by the art heist story @Prestwich_Blue posted earlier, if Butt had a three day trial with us when he was 12, this headline would have read “Ex-Manchester City trialist arrested on suspicion of assault after woman was injured near the Etihad Stadium”.

Correct mate, these are his actual words:

Less empty seats leads to a better TV product (money) but also better atmosphere, which in turn affects testosterone levels and territorial behaviour in players, therefore increasing home advantage. There’s financial value in every added league point too.
Seems very strange that we as a club haven't led the way on this - seems a no brainer to me?

Still amazed I haven't seen the headline "ex Manchester City trainee in Nazi salute shocker"

The latest Rag regular on 5 Live Darren Fletcher (player not commentator) was on fine form last night.
If United had taken their early chances they could have gone on to win it and Ole’s doing a fantastic job. McTominay is going to be another home grown superstar so make sure you stick with them to see it all come together with Ole at the wheel.
As for City, we’re lukewarm about the CL but we need to win it to make ourselves an elite club. We may beat Spurs but we are lucky to be only 1-0 down after Spurs were by far the better team in the first leg.

Thanks for your unbiased insight Darren.

Omfg Salah named in top 100 influential people.. .And it's BBC Liverpool sports headlines.

Why don't they just fuck off with their Scouse editors

As if he is more influential than Pep? Klopp. Lineker even Wtf!

It's this sort of media doping shit that we have to deal with.. Ffs I hope we beat them to the title

He influences a lot of refs so he’s certainly worthy of the award.

I have always hated the idea of "an agenda" and I'd prefer to think that the media were more even handed. That being said...

For those of you following the Prem in the USA this season, are you feeling more and more like I do? Here's what I mean:

Every fucking weekend, it's all about LIVERPOOL. It's all about how LIVERPOOL have done it again. This past weekend, it was about how Salah's goal against Chelsea would be looked back on for years to come as a defining moment in their chase for The Title. LIVERPOOL LIVERPOOL LIVERPOOL. They keep their collective mettle. They push on. They continue to amass an amazing number of points. on and on and on...

Then, when talking about City, it's all very nice and tidy. Quick sound bites. I don't know, maybe NBCSports would defend it by saying City are EXPECTED to play this way at this point, but here's the bottom line as we all know it:

If we win out in the Prem, Liverpool are well and truly FUCKED and they can not win the League. The story of their season will NOT be a Salah Wonder Goal. It will be the story of how they let a 10 point lead slip away and how they came up against City after Holiday fixtures and got BEAT soundly when they could have pulled further clear. Yes, I know we have to win out to make this happen, but in my mind THEY ARE CHASING US, not the other way around.

Seriously, I am getting sick of it. SIck of Klopp. Sick of hearing about how Mane and Salah and Firmino are bossing the league. What about Manchester City offering up the STRONGEST TITLE DEFENSE IN PREMIER LEAGUE HISTORY?

Seriously pissed off with it at this point.

CTID!

Complete spurs wank fest on Talkshite. Don’t know why I bothered turning it on, haven’t turned it on for ages and won’t be doing it again.

We have made a lot of the media so happy tonight , they will be queuing up to stick the boot into Pep , unfortunately VAR will secure most of the headlines instead of a very good game of football

Unless I misheard, the woman sports reporter doing a roundup of Champions League football for the BBC 10pm News suggested "It could even be a Barcelona v Liverpool final".
I think someone should have whispered into her earpiece.

There was a guy on RManc this evening who had it down as a Barca v City final but only had City winning 2-1 tonight which, effectively was as good as 4-3 was!!

Just heard Paul Merson say that if we slip up in the next week , it has been a bad season for city! Challenging for 4 trophies up until the middle of April, one cup in the bag, another final waiting , going out on away goals in a fantastic game of football in the champions league, and even if we finish runners up in the league, 90+ points. Dreadful, but i'm sure I can think of worse!
