I'm sick of hoping they'll drop points here or there and feeling pissed off when they don't.

I want them playing full tilt from now until the rest of the season winning their remaining games and falling short to us.

Finishing this season empty handed after the effort they've put in and the emotional investment will psychologically cripple them.
It will spell the end of any future title challenges.
They will understand the premier league title just isn't for them.

Liverpool are a club that were once a dominant force in Europe. If they fuck this up (again) they'll be haunted by their past for ever.

I don't THINK they'll drop points but of course I HOPE they do. Cardiff have an outside chance of shutting them out now that they have a shot at survival.

Given our next two fixtures, i think it's unlikely we'll win every game we have left. It's possible, but our run in isn't that straightforward.

It turns it hollow bravado and assuming we can suddenly turn on the style when it suits us doesn't actually result in us thumping every opponent at will.

I think you're probably in the very unique position of being the only City fan on earth right now of hoping that Liverpool play at full tilt and win every game they have left.

I agree, but there must be something happening in Stones' training or personal life that has Pep feeling like he's not in the right place to start right now.

Best thing to do would be start Laporte IMO because we need to reinforce our faith in him after last night's horror show. Could be anyone starting next to him but I'd be surprised if it was Stones.

It’s very frustrating as they were so good together earlier this season and clearly are the Partnership for the future. Anyway, I agree with your sentiment about playing our best team every game. That means Eddie, Kyle, Laporte, Fern, Bernie, Kev, Raz, Leroy and Kun always start if thy are fit. 2 remaining places taken by Vinnie/Ota/JS and Mendy/Zinchenko.
Mahrez and Delph I wouldn’t even have on the bench.

I agree, but the constant changing around of the CBs is an issue, I get why he does it and I don't think it affects our attacking, but it definitely creates issues defending

I do think it effects our transition. Vinnie/Ota distribution forward is a lot less consistent than Laporte/Stones. The constant rotation of the Partnership doesn’t help build understanding but I know Pep thinks ultimately all 4 become interchangeable. Evidence for that is inconclusive. Premier League not a problem, Champions League, FA cup too many goals shipped.
