Leroy in hist post-match interviews doesn’t sound like someone that is leaving. They are only asking questions about his and the team’s relationship with Pep and he is answering every one with maturity and intelligence.

I think the club may have purposely put him out for all of these so he can feel what it is like to be in the spotlight in this way, to feel more a part of things, and get the credit for impacting the game as he did.
