I said Leicester a few days ago on the rag thread. But I’ll admit, I’m clutching at that.

Burnley aren’t getting anything from you, Brighton neither. Leicester counter away from home, could be trouble, unlikely, but it could happen if we’ve still not dropped points by then.

Spurs were the last real hope.

Reading BBC sounds as though you cruised it at the Rags.

I think you need to worry about Wolves who can on their day play great football...as proving tonight against Arsenal

When we play Leicester we would have had 8 days rest from our previous match so i don't see them having more of a chance than burnley.

Wolves are a great side. First 45 minutes against us at their place some of their passing was unreal! They might be playing for European spot as well. Think them and Everton are going to give the Rags, chavs and Arsenal a run next season.
 
That's a big psychological blow to Liverpool which could affect them, unfortunately they've got a home banker next.

Oh yeah, I’m definitely clutching to a miracle but you’ve got 3 teams left and only 1 of them can play football on their day. I know you’re not us but they could’ve beaten us at Anfield. I was at that game and they just counter out of absolutely nowhere.

Thanks mate. Ah if you do slip up I’d still be shitting a brick until the full time whistle on a final day. And I wouldn’t be rubbing it in on here, just hoping we’ll still be able to challenge again next season. The 2 times we’ve finished 2nd in the League we’ve finished outside of the Top 4 the following season. So bucking that trend would be a good start for us.

Hope so as they play forward attacking football, the rest if the league clubs should take a leaf out of their book.

I mentioned the other day, if you did go on to win the title this season how you would fare the next. As the rest of the league try that much harder to shut you out - something we have to deal with every game. Think its testament to our manager and our players the defence we have made of the title

They deserve 7th and a shot at Europe next season. That’d let them keep building.

Yeah agreed. I just posted above that both times we’ve finished 2nd before we haven’t even made the Top 4 the following season, so hope we aren’t back battling with the Rags and chavs next season.

198 in 2 seasons, if that’s what it takes would be unreal. How can anyone compete with that. Pep is a great manager no denying that. And your squad is probably the best in Europe. Barca are the only team in my opinion who can compete with you in terms of overall squad ability.

If we take 97 points and finish 2nd I’ll just pretend that we won the league and end up in a mental home.

its absolutely mental that whoever finishes second would be on that amount of points - its unheard of. But thats the quality that our 2 clubs are now pushing each other to achieve

Where did he go second half? There were no quips from him yet he popped up continually first half? He wasn’t in the studio at the end either?

Obviously don't realise that being sacked gives great motivation to help the fu##er who replaced you a hand to the title.
