I remember watching a City TV interview with the Legend that is David Silva a few years ago where they asked him to try a Bakewell Tart. He took the smallest nibble and told the interviewer that was all he would have as he didn't want to get on the wrong side of the club's dietitian's and the manager. Lumpkaku would have probably done the box in and asked where the French Fancies were. What a time to be a blue!

He'd probably do well in Serie A, I think Atletico would suit him best personally, more room to use his pace, and defenders would be bouncing off him, Simeone would give him very focused coaching which I think he needs.

People on here always seem to mistakenly think United are spending huge money on shit players. What they're doing is taking great players, sometimes players that Pep wanted, and through a combination of poor coaching, management and toxic atmosphere, turning them into bad players.

Lukaku was a brilliant striker at Everton, he was great at West Brom, and he's been very good for Belgium. If he can jump ship to a decent club, he'll go back to being an excellent striker. Pogba will be the same, given a more forgiving environment and better supporting cast, and Darmian will probably go to Juventus and be playing in CL semi finals next year.

This is part of the magic of United's downfall. They can spend £1Bn on world class players, but they'll still underperform, turn sour, regress, become a scapegoat and want to leave etc. until they fix everything else wrong at the club.
