Exactly.Which is why the club shouldn't give tickets to agencies to sell for away games
The issue surrounds the corporate ticket lark.

Some at times look bemused by it all as if they not sure what is actually going on.
Did you ask how they acquired tickets?
The Truth is that some people with 19000+ points are selling their tickets for some big games - probably to fund the travel etc for other games.
I paid over the odds for mine last night and I'm pretty sure the fella i met to collect them, in Stretford McDonald's, wasn't Sorriano!
I actually did speak to a visitor last night and he'd bought his from a "guy in hotel reception".
Club makes lots of ticketing mistakes but let's be honest - people are buying tickets to resell...and the best way of stopping it ( the Celtic away collect in person with ID) was universally panned.
Some of us didn’t mind the ID collection set up
I did. It completely went against those that wanted to travel up after doing a days work. Made it impossible.

Lets target these parasites before targeting true fans, we are supposedly being represented, this is the single biggest issue at away games, I asked a lad why he had a United bag, he just stared blankly. Not his fault, and doesn't deserve abuse, the club or whoever is passing these tickets on are actually putting these people in danger, it won't be long before someone gets hurt.
I must be one of these then
I have over 22,000 points and I bought tickets for this game.
However I was there. As I was at Spurs and will be at Burnley and Brighton.
Those with the high points generally go to the games.
The two guys who had paid over the odds had got them through a club contact.
Other tickets are through agencies.
Do you really believe that a group of ten people with high points all bought their tickets together in order to pass them on to tourists?
PS I see we have a return of the jack booted brigade who believe football fans should be treated as second class citizens.
Do you really believe City will have the corporates show ID, will they fuck, it’ll be targeted at ‘normal’ fans.
You shouldn’t then.No I don't believe that groups are selling and that's not what I said. Do you not believe that some genuine high pointers are selling some tickets? I do because I bought mine from exactly that source.
If that's your only way of getting one then I don't blame you.No I don't believe that groups are selling and that's not what I said. Do you not believe that some genuine high pointers are selling some tickets? I do because I bought mine from exactly that source.

I know people with high points who sell on regularly. Maybe not for profit but for the points and in general they go to blues. But let's not be naive and accept that some do if they get the chance. Help pay for Wembley or their season ticket.club employees must be behind it to be on the scale last night and collections won't apply to them or the rest that go out the back door. Never heard of anyone on high points selling on for profit, they are normally mad keen city fans who want to be at the big games.
You are part of the problem paying touts.
Fine with everything you say except why would a group from an OSC walk into the away end at a derby with their club shop bags? Why can't the club be transparent with these sorts of matters? Why are ticket office members selling tickets for five times face value which is illegal? Why do the club make away tickets for these games available to agencies to sell on at a huge profit to any Tom, Dick or Harry when there are genuine fans who couldn't obtain them through the loyalty scheme? Surely the games to sell these packages are the ones where demand isn't as great and yes I know that means it is harder for them to sell packages but surely the club want 'proper fans' at the game. I remember a few years ago the rags moaned about their derby allocation as their 'away following' literally didn't make a noise all night. This was because the vast majority had gone to corporates who just wanted to be at the game rather than support the rags. That is what is going to happen to our support if the club continually ignores their roots.I know people with high points who sell on regularly. And maybe these are club tickets but where they've received a request from a foreign group who want to attend a game. Or the OSC could have granted them to a group travelling over. As long as they've come out of the OSC's or club's own allocation then, whatever you think of the current system, there's no problem as these wouldn't have gone to seasoncard holders anyway.
