What makes me laugh about people chucking the human rights abusing card out there is the fact they didn’t give a fuck about the UAE up until maybe 2011 before City had won anything under the new owner. Using the fact that your football team is being crushed into the ground as a way to show fake concern for construction workers in the UAE is cringeworthy.

Considering the amount and nature of our injuries (and the players who have suffered them) and the fact they've had nothing remotely comparable, I think even with only one or two signings they'll be miles off next season. It's now or never for them.

It was exactly the same in 2012 when we were up against United for the title. Loads of their former players were being wheeled out for a quote along with some of their current ones at the time, whereas we just got on with business. I don't know what they're trying to achieve because if it's an attempt at mind games then they're wasting their time as our players and manager won't even be paying any attention and will be unaware of most of it anyway

This is a great point mate and one I've thought about plenty of times. The irony of Liverpool and United fans calling us out for having plastic fans is beyond bizarre and shows a complete lack of self-awareness. There will be a far bigger percentage of non-plastics attending City and Everton games than those two.
And like I've said before - I'd sooner be a real fan of a so-called plastic club than a plastic fan of a so-called real club.
