United (A) Post Match Thread

Apart form the result, the highlights of the night were Raheem out-jumping Pogba and Merlin releasing his inner Roy Keane. Pereira pissed him off for some reason (did I miss some bad tackle?) and they were arguing all the time. And I hope more people start appreciating Gundo and what he's been doing for us.

Long may it continue.

I truly thought they were mad to appoint him on the back of the honeymoon period, given his failings previously in English football. Gone by Christmas I reckon, unless they get it right in the Summer. Had a great start on the back of an easy run of games in the league, but already showing how bang average he is. Suits the current United team really.

I really don’t think they could stand the humiliation of another managerial failure being publicly admitted so soon. They’ve simply got to let Noddy invest serious money on a rebuild. They’re in transition, doncha know?

And what a massive reconstruction is needed to narrow the gap on the dippers and us. If they don’t really trust his judgement, they still have the puppeteer on their books.

Great innit?

Pereira is typical rag material.....a snidey, cheating, cvnt who irritates, and thinks he is far better than he actually is.Him and David clashed early doors which led to the running confrontation.....of which silva made mincemeat of.

Don't you think that the new clueless one looked like Moyes' little brother last night!

Last night wasnt a game I was that worried about just because of how open the scum play! Now Burnley are a different kettle of fish and a lot tougher game with Dyche and his coaching of his players in the dark arts of cheating like fcuk for 90+ minutes.

I'm surprised Ashley Barnes doesn't wear boots on his elbows ffs

Delighted with that after a nervy first half. Oddly things improved when Fernandinho went off, shackles came off Gundogan and he became far more influential in an attacking sense.
David Silva was excellent 2nd half as well. Defending got better the longer the match went on. Is that now 5 wins from our last 7 trips there? Changed days indeed.
Had to laugh at "Keano" on Sky after, he just comes across as some kind of relic, stuck in the glory days of Utd from 20 plus years ago.
Some good stuff from Joe Hart, came across well I thought.
Seriously, having Martin "King Kenny" Tyler, Neville and Carra "spirit of Anfield" as their commentary team... They're having a laugh.

When they have played, silva has not played well. Why be a smart arse about it?
David has not been at the same level as he was in the early months of the season for whatever reason.
Because he was brilliant last night you're saying it proves he cant play with Kev despite a whole season of evidence saying otherwise.
Not being a smart arse just think you're talking bollocks.

I almost don't know what to say about the rags. When they needed to change the game..... Lukaku comes on. And stumbles around in wide areas. Turning that horror show around might be a bigger job than people think. Let's hope so anyway!

Hands up who feared our 2-goal lead was well and truly bolloxed when Sanchez and Martial appeared?

A top manager does not slump like this, when faced with the winning goal.
He jumps up, yells at the linesman, berates the fourth official, kicks a water bottle, and yells at his team to pull their fingers out. .
Oh, they need COLIN.
I hear Stuart Pearce may be available.

He’ll get their attack and defence sorted in short order, guaranteed 38 points a season.
