All joking aside, that lad does appear to be carrying some baggage for a professional footballer.

He looked good at Juventus but there was the debate that the people around him and the league made him look good. It’s been 3 years of stagnation at United, if he had of come to City would they have aloud him to develop all the distractions in social media, haircuts and sponsors wanting a piece of him to grow their brand and him being number one in the dressing room. City have a no dickheads policy which has led to Pogba, Sanchez and Fred having to ply their trades elsewhere.
My best mate watches Serie A all the time and goes to watch Juventus at least once a season and he really rated him there, but I never quite got it. Who knows what he would have done if he’d come here, but I haven’t seen anything that makes me believe that he would be worthy of a place in our first team.

Sometimes it can be the wrong club for a player. I wouldn't be that shocked if he left United and was successful elsewhere. It's his narcissistic behaviour that makes me glad he's not at City rather than his ability.

The big I am would have been battered out of him by Pep and he would have been expected to work on his all round game. That was suicide having to have Fred doing the legwork for Pogba on Wednesday night.

It’s why Ibrahimovic didn’t work at Barca, christ he had the technical ability but didn’t want to fall into line like Messi, Xavi and Iniesta and branded them all a bunch of scared school boys.

They’ve dined on success for decades and as a club, seem to have lost all hunger (apart from Shaw!).

They need a young hungry manager who will come in and stir shit up, bully them out of their comfort zone. In many ways like we needed a Mancini to come in and create friction to take us to the next level. OGS ain’t what they need.

They get a young player they will start blowing smoke up his arse thinking he’s made it just cos he is in the first team at United. Look at Lingaard apparently Raheem has more goals and assists than him this season than he has in his entire United career.

I fear for someone like Sancho going there, he would be better suited staying where he is and concentrating on his football and not being concerned if you are on the cover of FIFA or how much your boot deal with Adidas is worth which will get shoved in front of him at United.

I didn't see much of him at Juve apart from the night we played them in the CL at home in 2015 when they came back from a goal down to beat us 2-1. He ran the show in the last 20-30 minutes for me, pulling the strings like Gerrard and Scholes in their pomp, and that little snapshot had me buying into the hype. But as has been stated, it was probably as much to do with the players around him going off his form for United.

Fcuk me media talking about him the rags would want to get there money back plus a bit more for pogba quoting €150m any club paying more than 70m for him want there heads seeing too but suppose he is top of the social media that adds a few million.

They play in faded pink shirts and under a leaking roof. Their manager is a hero from a bygone age who takes the players to where they used to train back in the glory days. The deposed king sits in attendance looking confused and wondering what happened to the DNA.
If ever a club was a metaphor for living in the past, this is it.

P. S. Please don't tell them it's 2019

To think the entire forum was pining for this guy (me included) back in the summer of 2015. Dodged a bullet? More like dodged an intercontinental nuclear missile.

i never got a good vibe off the lad, my spider senses were tingling from day one. struck me as a show pony and arrogant. but then again, i bought 'honey to the bee' on cd single by billie piper back in the day, so what the fuck do i know about anything? :(

Really....??

Barcelona are ready to push through a £100m summer move for Manchester United and England striker Marcus Rashford, 21. (Mail)

I think I have a mental block about how bad United are and fear them more than I should. I was as nervous as hell before the most recent derby especially after their hammering by the blue dippers.
Last years defeat to them when they should have been buried was a low but overall we have dominated them.

If they do not get Champions League football it is difficult to see them making any progress as few players will want to join them and they will not be able to offload the likes of Sanchez.

If their keeper's loss of form is not just a blip then top six next year might be a stretch and OGS is not the guy to turn them around.

Seismic shift!

Chelsea and Arsenal seem to be doing their best to ensure that Utd gain 4th place. If not, they'll then be favourites for the Europa League next season - and another trophy for the visiting Far East plastics to come and gaze at in awe in the display case.
