Do they have any big commercial deals due to come on stream in the next 12 months? I vaguely remember last time they didn't qualify for the Champions League their financials stayed quite healthy because of all the deals they'd done. Currently their income levels look stable rather than rising rapidly, so the drop in income might even be noticeable, especially with their wage bill issues.

Or am I wrong?
 
Rashford is pretty good but I can't see him fetching big money. He's played nearly 170 games and hasn't really improved anything from when he broke through other than his ego. Before too long he'll be another 'young' player who everyone is saying just needs this or that to make a leap much like Pogba and Lingard.

I said the same sort of things in the transfer thread when it looked odds on he was signing for us. To read some of the comments on there we were signing Pele and Messi rolled into one and a fair few lambasted me for doubting the egotistical plank. I am happy ro have been proved right and bloody ecstatic it wasn't at our expense.

Wouldnt be anywhere near the England squad if he played for Watford

I'm also getting sick of hearing how amazing he was at the World Cup as some sort of justification for how good he can supposedly be. I watched every one of their games at the World Cup and he wasn't remotely close to amazing in any of them.

There's plenty of hype around Paul Pogba but barely any actual substance. A complete myth of a footballer and it staggers me that any team would genuinely consider paying £100m+ for him. He's not done anything to justify a price tag of even a quarter of that.

He's a bang average midfielder who plays a decent pass every now and again then disappears. The Premier League is literally packed full of players like that, so what's so special about him? I just don't get it.
