Nearly 5 years of Pochettino now. What a disaster that has been. Not won anything. Not spent any money. Not bought any big stars. And no chance of him being sacked.

sky and talk sport are apoplectic

I detect more than a hint of sarcasm. I don't subscribe to the theory that he is continuing to have a positive impact on Spurs. It would be disingenuous to not think that is the case. However, in that time, Spurs lost out in a league battle with Leicester and Arsenal have won FA Cups in the last 5 years. I cannot recall Spurs yet getting to a final under Pochetinno (?). If you could sum up his time so far, it would be 'very good but could have done a little better'.

League Cup final in his first season. Lost to Chelsea.

The attendance cock waving competition is really warming up

I must admit that I expected the new stadium novelty to last for a few years, not just a few weeks ;)

To be fair to Spurs, I think they're perhaps the only club in the Premier League who report actual numbers attending as opposed to tickets sold. Now I'm not sure how many were sold last night but I'm guessing it was more than the reported attendance. What I think this shows is that the bigger a ground's capacity, the more scope for no-shows as we've found out ourselves. Maine Road and WHL in their final incarnations had capacities of around 34,000 and 36,000 respectively and there was rarely evidence of many no-shows. Slap 20,000-25,000 on your capacity and all of a sudden a midweek home match in particular sees people giving it a miss.

Ah right. Wasn't sure and I couldn't be arsed using Google. I believe what I said about doing 'very well but could improve a little' still stands.

Knowing as many Spurs as I do, they are desperate for a trophy. Moreso than gaining a top four finish.

I think we are a little sensitive about the issue, as it appears any empty seats at our ground are flagged up by journos, pundits and opposition fans, while nothing is mentioned of empty seats elsewhere. Attendances of c50k are impressive for any club, in my opinion.

It is the hypocrisy of the media, (personally the bbc because i fucking fund them with no choice) that pisses people off so much. Was Lineker on twatter pointing out 5k empty seats within a fucking month of them moving into the bestest stadium ever? was he fuck, big eared slimy hypocritical wankstain.

On a separate note is there any chance of spuds battering anyone in the last few games to bring the goals bet back into play or will they keep fluking 1-0s?

No. We have no one to score any goals. I'll take 6 flukey 1-0s for our 6 remaining matches.

I'm seeking your opinion on Gary Lineker - do you like him or not?

Completely this.

Every game has sold out quickly. Members only. No tickets have made it to general sale yet. To be expected, really. A bit disappointing that some who do have tickets have failed to turn up.

Re the issue of reporting tickets sold rather than actual attendance, you’d have thought that the likes of Arsenal would be embarrassed to claim an attendance of c. 59K when there are likely less than 40K in the stadium - as happened once or twice last season.

I am not an aggressive violent type but I would gladly pay to watch someone grab him by the ears, and head butt the fucker's nose before force feeding a large bucket of actual bullshit into his mouth and finishing with a dessert of a knee to the ribs breaking a good few and stamping on his bollocks. So on reflection its probably safe to say i don't the twunt.

Could a % of the no shows be folks who unexpectedly have a trip to Amsterdam to folk out for and chose to miss a televised match to budget for an European away or is the stereotype that your all rich buggers true?

I’m stinking rich, and flash with it, but I can’t speak for any other Spurs fans....

I don’t think it’s a money thing. The tickets were already bought, after all. Think it’s more of a ‘couldn’t be arsed to turn up for a midweek match against lowly opposition’ thing. Or maybe a ‘don’t have enough brownie points to ask the missus if she’s okay with me going on a lad’s trip to Amsterdam unless I sacrifice a home game or two” thing.

You are one hell of an ugly cnut though so money ain’t everything.
