A couple of £70 tickets have just come available on block 108
Just got 2 x £45 front row above scoreboard. Block 514.
I was also at that game . But even when we win and its sunny, my children have looked on in amazement at fellow blues arguing at Wembley.Gotta win first ! My only memories of Wigan are fans arguing with each other and the fucking incessant rain
I think we might have an update from City this afternoon / evening about revised ticket sale criteria. The last update said if any tickets remain (after 29/4):That's a result and credit to @ManCityX as well for tagging you just in case you missed Marvin's post. Purely down to chance whoever gets those cheaper tickets so anybody else put off by the higher prices just keep checking the website whenever you can

"Further selling criteria will be announced on the website"
In the past City have had very small numbers of obstructed view seats so there's a small chance they might say something about that.
I wouldn't reply on it though. I think the £145 seats may got at 3pm. It will be close.
Wow - you really don't get this do you??Of course I'm not going to pay for them, that would be idiotic.
Respect has to be earned and people who play the victim on a public forum don't deserve any.
If there's any tickets left there's still time for this dad to do the right thing - get them both to Wembley.
Not moving to Watford any time soon sre you?? ;)I paid £800 in 2013. 2 seats in Club Wembley, "luxury" coach, Michelin star meal somewhere in deepest Hertfordshire, free ale for me (but not for the then 8 year old).
All paid to Ian St John Jnr.
My lad will remember that day for the rest of his life, given we live in Wigan and he has the jibes ever since! I'll never forget how upset he was too.
Hopefully, the cheap tickets that i have now luckily secured will remedy his bad memories!

Some people clearly aren't as fortunate as yourself, and I'll leave it there
I was on top of that for the semi, good seats, I did email Wembley to complain as they didn't reduce for a restricted view....if I sat right back in my seat, unsurprisingly didn't get a reply.Woohoo.
Thanks @Marvin , I just logged in randomly and picked up a £45 ticket for me, £35 for son in 514 - admittedly on top of the scoreboard!
The Gods are smiling on us today.
Good luck to everyone that hasn't got sorted yet.
£70 lower tier ??!!? Are these right at the front or restricted view ?A couple of £70 tickets have just come available on block 108
I can't think of a better use money than spending it on someone you love. What else will he do with the money he saves that will compare with going to Wembley with his lad?
The father has a computer and the son has a mobile phone, so the family isn't exactly impoverished are they?
The guy's trying to portray the FA as the bad guy here when it's clear the game will be over subscribed and so they haven't got the pricing wrong.
The son sounds great. I assume he takes after his mother and not his father.

I understand where you're coming from, but it's difficult to judge other people's situations sometimes, and computers and mobiles can be as cheap as chips, so no measure of wealth. Some people are more risk averse, and if they've got bills coming out of their ears just prioritise differently than others. Some people have FOMO (fear of missing out) and some, like me, don't, so will spend money they don't have because they can't cope with not being at a certain game, or film premiere, or latest product launch or latest fashion trend.I can't think of a better use money than spending it on someone you love.
