To be fair to the scousers I think 3-0 flattered Barca a lot.

Not really, Liverpool huffed and puffed in the second half but it probably should have been 4-1 on clear chances. Barca managed that game beautifully in hindsight. Shades of last seasons Liverpool tonight for me, with regards to gassing themselves out.

That could be where the top La Liga teams have the edge, the PL has far more teams happy to park the bus to get points and it's hard for the top teams not to get used to it. Barca weren't phased at Liverpool deciding to go all out, they weathered it and waited for them to run out of steam.
