In my opinion, those are the young players that will make the difference in the Portuguese National Team:

Cancelo/ Semedo Rúben Dias Ferro Guerreiro

Rúben Neves/ Florentino

Bruno Fernandes

Bernardo Silva Rafa
Félix
Rafael Leão

If City could sign Rúben Neves/ Florentino + Bruno Fernandes and Félix, joining Bernardo Silva. This would be great for the portuguese national team.

I would love to see my Benfica with that national team base, but, unfortunately, our president only cares about money and business with Jorge Mendes. If Benfica can't do it, i would love to see those players together in City.

His pass completion rate could be better.
It's basically identical to De Bruyne's in his last season at Wolfsburg (a tiny bit better actually). Those numbers will only go up if he signs as well.

City also need a CB as Otamendi leaves this summer. Could Ferro make an immediate impact and challenge Stones for RCB spot, in your opinion? How much would he cost?

Not sure if Dax was being a bit tongue-in-cheek but...

KDB was a devil for misplacing simple bread and butter passes when he first joined City. Pep was never going to stand for that...

Of course creative players sometimes have lower pass completion stats because they are attempting difficult passes in the final third and so the stats do not reflect their ability to complete simple passes time after time successfully. KDB is still close to bottom of the table in completion stats at City and Bernado is only in mid 80's.

Fernandes is making 3.2 key passes per game this season, which is at least 50% higher than anyone at City. His goals and assists tally is very good.

You can see why City might be interested.

Am I the only one wondering if we get Fernandes and Felix where are Foden's minutes going to come from next season? They will push him further down the pecking order.

i think gundogan and david silva will go mate. plus pep has said that we have to manage de bruyne better from next season to keep him fit for a season.

Fernandes would replace Gundogan, while Foden will get more of Silva's minutes (is my guess). Silva will most likely play a lot less next season.

I also believe Felix would be used on the wings or as a false 9.

I think Pep wants to bring Foden on gradually but I think he will play plenty more next season.

Ultimately it is about who performs. The club wants to bring in the best players it can get and then it is down to everyone here to compete.

As others mention, Gundo may well go and Dave is inexorably heading towards a tearful farewell.

Fernandes I would imagine depends on Gundogan leaving, Felix is more of a forward. Foden will take Silva's minutes.

Yep,we have played how many games this season...? our squad is running on empty now, only adrenaline is keeping the momentum......we fell at a hurdle we needn't have in the CL.....there will be plenty of room, and time, for all.

Our squad is fantastic, but the depth is a bit of a myth in certain areas.

Phil Foden is Dave Silva replacement & if reports are correct he may get the chance sooner than later as China are throwing loads of money at him????

If it was Dave I would think hard & fast his game this year has been poor but wow what a player he's been he owes City nothing.
