Next season it’s time to admit

At one point, I started to believe the quadruple was possible but more likely is that it will just cost you in one of the two big competitions. Pep probably won't do it, but I hope we play much weaker sides in every round of the cups. We need to be aiming to win the PL and CL next season and I think it will give us a better chance. We have the best manager in the world at our club for a very short period of time, we can't let it pass without winning the Champions League. The bittersweet domestic treble will do this season though.

Bittersweet? Are you for real?

IF we manage to win all four domestic trophies come the end of the season it’ll be the greatest season in the club’s 125 year history!
 
Me personally I hate the CL. If we got a ban the only reason I’d be gutted is it would affect our transfers. Other than that I wouldn’t give a fuck if we never played in it again
 
A domestic quadruple is a hell of an achievement and something no other club has managed , our relationship with UEFA and their glamour cup is broken for me , we always appear to suffer a controversial exit of some sort and when i go to an important Champs league game at the back of my mind i always think we will get stitched up by officials . The Champs league has become an annoyance to me , would rather have another clean sweep of domestic trophies next season.
 
A domestic treble would go beyond anything I'd have thought this club could acheive when I first became a blue.
Once upon a time I was happy scraping home wins in div 2, almost remember it like it was yesterday.
Just don't wake me up.....yet!

I reckon you’s will be even stronger next season. As you look to be close to a few new key signings. No reason why you’s shouldn’t aim for it again!

Injuries, dodgy officials, picking the wrong team in the away leg of Champions League games, poor defending...
 
I agree with OP but don't think Pep will do it. His approach is to try to win everything to develop a winning culture.
 
People forget the fine margins. We were a missed pen and a toe away from being in the semi final. You also need a major slice of luck, especially in the Champions League.
 
We were a wrongly allowed handball decision away from a Semi Final, after playing for the entire season without our best player, a proper LB having hardly any players have a proper rest after the world cup.

This team is incredible and are going to potentially achieve a treble that's never been done before.

A quadruple is not out of reach for this squad.

Fair points but for each point -

1. Injuries - if we get the squad as being discussed , it should help us cope. Hate to say it , dippers won it without Firmino and the diving salad.

2. Officials - VAR should help

3. Wrong team - That is one place where it's on Pep , which will be eating him. Hopefully it can be sorted.

4. Defending - we have conceded the least league wise. Yes , in away games - hope this can be worked out ! We have a great defence !
