Tuesday at work. Not a single Liverpool fan wanted to talk about football. Not even interested in talking to me at all it seems. One even avoided having his break same time as me. We'd not even played them ffs and I don't ever gloat. Especially when it's still to play for.

Today I shit you not one of them had YNWA playing from his stereo as I walked in, not sure if coincidence. Played it again. And sang it all day. They're all gleefully talking about nothing but football and how great Liverpool are. Half of them never even been to anfield the sad ****s.

That's why I won't credit them. I've lived in about 5 different parts of the country and worked all over and ove yet to go to a.town which isnt infested by these plastic Scouse parasites who's main drive for wanting a win is the banter on social media afterwards.

And they're a team of lucky dirty horrible cheating bastards.

Big difference between Pep and Klopp, Pep is a tactical leader where he leaves no stone unturned whereas Klopp is a Jose type who creates an us against the world scenario.
Last night he played what he had available not who he would have picked by choice and wound them up to create the perfect storm.
Barcelona were poor but Liverpool kept at them. Once the full back was injured you knew he had only one option but to take milner out of of midfield as he had no alternative, if that hadn't happened G.W. would have been stuck on the bench so that stroke of luck changed the match.
This can be dressed up all it wants by the media but no better than a great night if you are a dipper, not the greatest ever by any means that's for sure.
Once the "my boys" wears off then it will fall apart, we have seen it at Chelsea and united and many of us have seen it in our own working life, great when boss is one of the boys but then it's F++k all to do with me when it goes tits up.
We can't change the media but we can stick with our team, don't let others spoil what we have by over thinking it.
Best City team in my lifetime and no dippers going to spoil my enjoyment[/QUOTE

I thought Milner left us so he could play in midfield at the clan. Bless him even Klopp knows he's a second rate full back.

Liverpool are bottlers

Perhaps an odd thing to say after last night, and by the way well done Liverpool, that was a fantastic game, but bear with me.

There is a pattern developing at Liverpool whereby they play better when they are behind and are playing catch up rather than when they are ahead and in pole position. Being ahead gets to them and they freeze. They are more comfortable in the role of underdog rather than top dog. The mentality to win a trophy from a position of strength is different to the mentality of chasing a lost cause.

In the Premier league

On the 30th December LFC were 10 points ahead of City. City had a game in hand, which they won. Going into the match at the Etihad, LFC were top of the league and 7 points ahead. They were on a fantastic run of results in the league, Danny Murphy had issued his impassioned “I believe” speech on MOTD, and the momentum was theirs. City by contrast had recently lost in the league to Chelsea and Leicester City.

So despite it only being January, this felt like a title decider. Win that, and Liverpool would be 10 points ahead. It was a fantastic opportunity for Liverpool. And yet rather than “going for it” (like last night), Klopp’s selection that day was cautious, and he paid the price. Nevertheless Liverpool still led City by 4 points.

Liverpool’s next big opportunity was presented to them at the end of January. City lost to Newcastle. Benitez was their hero, and they had the chance to extend their lead to 7. They played Leicester the day after. Once again they squandered the opportunity and drew the game. Even so, 5 points ahead and with the easier run-in, you would expect that to be a winning position.

But no, the burden of being league leaders got to them and they drew matches against West Ham, United and Everton. City won their games and edged ahead by one point.

This left Liverpool in their preferred position as underdog. Over the next 2 months, they were always playing catch-up to City, who were always that 1 point ahead. Being chaser rather than leader suited them better and they won every single league game to maintain the one point gap.

Not a single point dropped by Liverpool during the period they were playing catch-up.

8 points dropped during the period they were league leaders.

My conclusion is that they don’t have the mentality to win from the front. They can’t handle the pressure. They are more comfortable chasing a lost cause, invoking the “up and at em” Dunkirk spirit. They cope admirably when there is nothing to lose (again, see last night) but it is a different kind of mentality to hold your nerve when it is you who is being shot at. City players have that mentality.

Obviously a great result for the Dippers and fair play to them. But, they have not won anything yet, albeit they are favourites. Klopp's record is not good in final's, let's hope this continues

By Saturday 18th May there is every chance that we will have four trophies in our cabinet and at this point the Dipshits would have won nothing , the in balance of reporting in the media of the two clubs is staggering , seriously how can a football club attract such attention that has won one League Cup in fifteen years and havent had a sniff of a title for 29 years , its mind boggling. The Dippers built their support whilst being financially doped by the Moores family 40 to 50 years ago so their hypocriscy over our ownership is remarkable , the Dippers appear to think everyone hates them because they are jealous , how the f*ck can anyone be jealous of a club emerging from under a rock after fifteen years of failure and with supporters that still to this day embarrass football in the UK .
The Dippers are hated because of the total ignorance of their support and the inevitable repercussions everyone suffers because of that feral support , its nothing to do with their standing as a football club

Turned on radio 4 this morning. Immediately turn off as they’re taking about the dippers. Fair enough I thought, morning after a great game, but I’m not listening to that drivel.

Fast forward 9 hours. I’m on the way home from work. Turn on radio 4. They are only interviewing, and I shit you not, the fucking stadium announcer at Klanfield.

Jesus. Wept.

The Dippers tea lady was otherwise engaged , she was busy selecting her favourites for desert island discs.

Doesnt really hold. They were 3-3 for 25 mins yesterday and had plenty to lose at that stage. They then outsmarted Barcelona and put them away. They were also ahead at 1-1 at Bayern and put them away 3-1. They were ahead throughout against Porto and put them away. They had a tricky patch in Jan/Feb and dropped 12 points (6 draws). We had ours in Dec/Jan and dropped 12 points (4 losses). At the end of it all, we were 1 pt ahead - just as we were going into it. SO unless they were expected to win every game since the start of Dec, there is no argument that they bottled anything.

I actually thought they would wilt in the run-in, but they didn't. They have won every single game. Now there's a better argument that they only won by cheating and opponents/refereeing largesse. But that's a different point.
