We have missed him last 2 games particularly against the bus park mentality . Need something from midfield which hopefully David Silva can provide. Brighton aren't as astute as Leicester so we need some creativity - hopefully it can come from Silva or even Foden if he plays. Got to get out of the semi conservative approach the last 2 games . Not saying we should throw caution to the wind . But if we are overly concerned about giving the opposition no corners , set pieces etc then it does make for a more cautious and tighter approach.
Just need that little bit of guile in the final third . Got to be willing to risk a little more . We have done it all season last season and a good part of this season too. We can do this .
Balls out attacking from the kick off for me - Brighton pinned back.

Playing away might help us in the mentality stakes. Because FFS, you lot are nervy as hell all ready. It may be for the best that the team doesn't play in a ground that collectively chewed its nails off the moment the first thrown in was given against us, and if we don't score from our first attack, will be busy comparing notes on potential suicide methods for when it all inevitably goes wrong.

I feel like I'm in a fucking parallel world with Spurs and Liverpool and having a bad dream. We're without any shadow of doubt Europe's best team right now, but we've been cheated by Spurs and screwed over by UEFA - so we don't have the opportunity to prove our supremacy. Liverpool have cheated their way to being within a point of us. Barca have run out of elite support acts for Messi in their prime. We are top dogs now.

Those City fans who say they don't care about the Champions League, do they still feel that way ? I'll be brutally honest - I'm jealous as fuck of Spurs and Liverpool. The Champions League is why Pep is here - it's why we're where we are now. Hopefully Pep's motivated to stick around for a while yet - a few more tilts at the trophy.

Slightly off topic but just like last night spurs win through,a games never over until the ref blows that whistle for full time just hope the players go at it from the off on Sunday I don’t want to be thinking what if ..
Balls out football from kick off. Please, no jabbing and moving for the first half and waiting until second half to throw the heavy punches. We need to take Brighton straight out of their comfort zone.

Is it just me - Gundo's doing a good job of closing the door on the opposition, but he's slowing our play down ? Unlike Fernandinho who does all the hard work but also gets us going forward quickly.

Liverpool and Spurs would swap their situation for ours in a heartbeat

I lived and worked in Sussex for three years in the 90s - continued with my season ticket, but that's not what I'm saying. My sons played Sunday football down there. Brighton sponsored a hell of a lot of junior football - very close links with the community - the players got out and about in the county. Any decent young players would at least get looked at by the club - unlike in Manchester where you can be exceptional and not get noticed. After those warm words, I'm hoping we score 6 or 7.
37 down, 1 to go. Wonder if De Bruyne or Fernandinho could be available?
Kevin either starts and goes off after 60 or comes on for last 30.

Surely our energy levels are back to something like normal and we can play our normal quicker tempo for 90 minutes and start throwing the heavy punches from the kick off ?

Please no more of these nervy wins. Give us a simple 3 - 0 win with our first goal coming within the first 15 minutes.

I'm thinking we'll win, I think with the amount of time we have inbetween games I think it'll be a comfortable game. I'm really looking forward to wearing my shirts again. Whenever I wear them we lose, so I can't wear them on matchdays!
