Brighton’s form is lost 5 and drawn 3 of the last 8
If they go into this game with their mentality in last month of sitting in and defending for 90 mins then they are inviting us to attack them from the off
We need to take it to them and go for the early goal
I think this may a game Raheem gets a couple

Judging by some of the comments it’s probably a blessing we’re playing away.

I think the nerves in the crowd would very quickly go on to the pitch.
This is how Monday was panning out until the goal

Has there been any discussion on a location for blues to meet up for pre-match drinks?

I guess in Brighton near the station before getting the train to Falmer?
Basketmakers were blues met before. Good pub safe. Know quite a few going there. I'm getting collection from home by mate with ticket who's Albion fan so no drink before. Still price worth paying!

Forget the drama. Forget the what ifs.

The best team in this country needs to go out there tomorrow and score 1 goal more than Brighton to guarantee retaining the title.

We are 59 points better off than them and have a 91 goal better goal difference than them.

There is no rational reason we won’t complete the brief.

I fully expect us to win the title with 98 points.

But this is City your talking about

Are you mad

Your right though

I don't think we did. Got an early goal and played in first gear for the rest of the game. Brighton never troubled, and we never bothered to trouble them further.

Brighton never troubled ? You mean except for the heart attack inducing Laporte clearance off the line !

We shouldn’t underestimate them and after a week’s rest should have the energy to go full speed from the off.

This isn’t a game where we should wait until the second half before going into top gear !

Get it done by half time so the City fans can sing their hearts out .

Please !!!!

Are you not going down tonight and staying over ?.
Probably not - my wife has some stuff on with her parents tomorrow - so it just me and my daughter.

As we are not that far away (near Reading) - current plan is to get the train down in the morning

Although I am still working on getting down there tonight

You staying over?

I'm very calm about this game. I tend to get a gut feeling about games we will struggle in. This isn't one of them.
None of this "Jinxing it" bullshit. I just genuinely believe we are going to win.

I know football can be unpredictable, but we are a much better team. We have the motivation to win the match.

All i want is a fast start with plenty of energy. None of this calm and in control bullshit. Pressure pressure pressure until we score. Then build on it.

COME ON CITY!!!

Yes mate City.

The club who’ve just reached the 2 highest points totals in premier league history back to back.

The club who have won 3 premier league titles in 7 seasons and are on the cusp of a 4th in 8.

Believe.

We've won 63 of our last 75 PL games - a staggering 84% win ratio in arguably the most competitive league in the world.

Thanks for that - that postcode is in my phone

I'm gonna be 37000 feet somewhere over the Atlantic, come k.o, so, whilst I feel confident that we'll win comfortably, I hate the idea of not being able to follow, even on the flapping match day forum. I'm managing to console myself by the notion that I'd much rather us be in this position, than the dippers. To have to win on Sunday, and hope dippers drop points would be too much to bear. Come on city, you've got this.

Every day I can't help reflecting on what lucky, lucky people we are to be involved in this.

If we do the grand slam, next season we'd need the CL as well to have a better season. If we end up with "just" the League Cup, we've got every reason to look forward to doing better next season. What a time to be a blue.
