We MUST get back back to our slick passing and movement. We looked really slow and laboured v Leicester. Brighton are no mugs and will no doubt try and lump it forward, looking for a free kick to hoof it into the box.
If we quicken the ball forward when we regain possession, we can then be more direct in our attack. We seem content to get the ball back, piss about with it ,let them regroup and settle into the 5-4-1, and then decide we will go forward. It’s infuriating at times, when we have the ball on the counter and 5 on 3 advantage and still manage to fuck it up or don’t even try to be direct and put them under the cosh. I know we have scored a hatful again, but surely we should be putting these chances away, and not risking it by giving the opposition easy chances.
We really have the opportunity to do something amazing on Sunday, which won’t even matter to the cünt media, as they’ll still be going on about CL final no doubt.
Come on CITY. The path to glory awaits.

Finally! someone else noticed as well how often we screw up our advantages.
YES, I KNOW, WE HAVE BEEN GREAT. THE BEST IN FACT.
but... we could be so much better if we got it up field sooner, forgoing the sideways and back passes that lets everyone get back, then we have to break down the whole team.
Football is about being flexible and adapting to situations to exploit space, the faster you do it the less time they have to react.
It is wrong to always play out from the back, we miss chances to play longer balls up the space on the wings for quicker breaks. we are so predictable and i think that's the reason why goals are scarce now that everyone knows how we play.
Another thing, it pisses me off all this talk in the media about Vinny's goal and how surprised they are and he had no right!?
1, he's a professional footballer, a defender, of course he can smash it.
2, he 100% did the right thing by shooting there. Pep said he wanted Vin to pass it out wide, ffs.
every game i go mad when we get the ball at the top of the box and put it wide and then never get it back to as good a position before we lose it.
3, from the top of the box if you don't have a pass up to a striker, or a through ball pass to a winger cutting in, you smash it at the net if you can, that's the play.
scoring, getting a deflected goal or getting a rebound are all better options than kicking it toward the touchline.

Move the Ball about so fast that they get dizzy chasing it.
Would love to see us back to our free flowing best, but we all know what we are going to get.
The usual 5-4-1 bus station. It’s what we will have to endure now and for the foreseeable future. Teams can’t play the way that THEY want to against us, they have to react to our fück ups.
A solid professional team performance with clinical and ruthless finishing from us is all I’m asking for on Sunday.
Show the rest of the League that we mean business AGAIN!

well said, and no way this lot can soak up 90 minutes of pressure from us.

Hope this is right thread.
I got giddy and made a last minute decision to fly over from Oz after we beat Leicester.
Luckily secured a couple of tickets for the FA Cup Final ( £200 each for £145 face value tickets). A little steep but wtf.

Anyway , I’ve now come to terms that I’ve no chance of a ticket for Brighton but I’ve got a hotel booked and will be down there.
So my question is...... where will all the other blue hordes be watching / drinking during the game?
It would be great to be a boozer full of blues.
Cheers

Look, I actually agree I'd like to see us move the ball faster in transition because I want us to be cut throat and get it over with. It does my nerves in the way we suffocate teams like a python.

BUT mate ... 195 points in 2 seasons (so far). I'm guessing Pep knows something we don't.
