He said that it was odd that City wouldn't comment yesterday - they obviously referred him to the previous statement. Now his piece has been published, they've changed their approach.

I know what he said, but what he was saying didn’t make sense, City told him to read our previous statement, obviously we had nothing to add, and he took that as City not answering his questions. It didn’t make sense when City were telling him that nothing had changed. It was him who didn’t get it.

The NYT are some of the biggest agenda pedllers out there. (On all topics.)
Wrapping your bias in a cloak of pseudo intellectual postering doesn't make you a credible news source.

Add to that, the problems of Jayson Blair, Judith Miller, Selena Blair and the Duke Lacrosse case, accusations of homophobic editorial cartoons and the paper admitting to using anti-Semitic tropes in another editorial cartoon. The paper has a big reputation but is hardly above reproach.

Yep it's been cleared up about 50 times already. Even as an ex major shareholder though(which is what should have been said), to claim it as insignificant would be disingenuous, unless they left on bad terms?

No because they could be making it up . They are masters at fake news . On the other hand if this Tariq guy is telling us the truth they have no need to provide their source right now . However if it means that Uefa 's CFCBIC is undermined by intentional leaking then the process of investigation becomes a predetermined outcome and damaging in a legal sense. CAS may have no other option but to throw any recommendations from Uefa via CFCBIC out. However it's impossible to say that will be the case as CAS itself may have a bias .
