Funny how the media had no hate for utd and Liverpool when they were successful.

You've got to remember that, particularly for the dippers, social media hadn't been invented then. All the current pundits spreading their bile were still playing for them.
The rags, on the other hand, have had the media on their side since around 1958.

They will mention it in passing, to try to appease the guy who tries to control the presser, by saying stuff like “so Pep, you have an opportunity to win your first FA Cup this weekend, but what do you make of City fans and players singing songs about Hillsborough, the holocaust and justifying Hitler’s actions?
