A great watch.Just finished watching Losers on Netflix.
Real life docuseries about sportspeople / athletes / teams who were gallant losers.
Fucking brilliant. Really enjoyed it.

Chernobyl Episode 2 - It just keeps getting better as a show whilst the story somehow gets darker, more foreboding and utterly desperate. Such a brilliantly well made and well acted show. HBO really do know how to make a very digestible bit of tv..

Ha ha yes, that street was certainly not Manchester however the landlady did a decent accent.Whoever they hired to find a location that looked like Manchester in 'The Looming Tower', has obviously never been there.

Chernobyl is fantastic yet harrowing tv and quite difficult to watch. All the more so that’s it’s based on true events.
As other have said, the acting and sets are excellent, as is the writing, the score, and the pacing too.

Makes you wonder what we were/have not been told about the implications. The description by the professor was chilling. I was 24 and living in one of 'the hotspots' as the cloud came over and dumped its load. Scary when you think about it all and how close the world came to full on armageddon which i had never realised. I do wonder if our gov have tracked the long term impact (cancer clusters/types etc). The guys who knowingly gave their lives to sort this deserve all our admiration...Chernobyl is fantastic yet harrowing tv and quite difficult to watch. There was a documentary a few yrs back about Cheynobyl. It had Ade Edmondson as the lead. Excellent viewing but I was always waiting for Ade to shout "you bastard".

Has anyone watched Toast of London. About a voice over actor who gets occasional TV/stage work. The guy is Matt Berry I think and he is a voice over actor. (moneysupermarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrket). Well I thought the series was shit hot.

Me too, you have to stick with it as it is really out there, but he's very funny in my opinion. Loved him in the I.T. Crowd too!
