I would be sad to see Leroy go, he clearly has the talent, but he does blow a bit hot and cold. That first 45 mins display against Arsenal when we were 3 - 0 up was simply stunning and I am hopeful he will sign a contract extension
 
When he wants to be he’s unplayable a genius, but maybe thats where the prob lies, when he wants to? he’s inconsistancy must drive pep mad i know it does me as just a fan! hes gone backwards this season if anything

He is my favourite player to watch for what he does bring to the table, but he's still doing the same things, which might be frustrating for someone so technically demanding as our gaffer.

Do you think it’s a case of Pep wanting him out then? Or do you think it’s Sane wanting out due to playing time or more money?

Always the case with genuinely talented players but question of desire to continue has to be as important and in this case that seems to be in question. And knowing how Txiki, Pep et al operate in cases like these - they only want players who desire to be here. Personally, I subscribe to this 100%

This. The true options might be one final year + no fee or sell this summer for £100m+. I think he is a great player and will be a massive loss but we can't force him to sign.
 
Love Leroy to bits and will be gutted if he goes. But not sure if Pep trusts Leroy to track back in the big games. That is such a key part of his teams. Look at the shift Mahrez put in on Sunday. Look at how Sergio had to adapt his game and became a better player. No saying Leroy can’t adapt at all and become world class but think that is why he hasn’t started more games. He obviously wants more game time and we know Pep won’t guarantee that. Hope he signs as will be a huge loss. But in Pep we trust!

When does his contract actually run out? Is it summer 20 or 21?

Oh don’t get me wrong I’m not angry or anything I was just saying that’s what I think has happened.

The only thing about tapping up that annoys me is the faux outrage. Everyone does it, I hate when certain clubs get uppity about it
