I’ve got faith Pep and Sane will hug it out and say ‘I fucking love you, man.’
It’s just Pep’s brand of tough love. He’s got to play him more, for sure, but he knows just how good he can become. Sane looks pretty intelligent and modest to me.

Burley and Nicol are both very good pundits, very honest and don't hold back.
Burley doesn’t hold back, but Nicol has some serious Scouse tinted glasses. In fact, his recent “its City’s title” is all reverse psychology and he’d love nothing more than Liverpool to win and him look like he was magnanimous, while loving every minute of it!

The issue I feel is Sterling wants to play on the left and Pep agrees

Bernardo is then better on right than Sane so Sane is going to be odd man out

I prefer Sane left Sterling right and Bernardo central

Hope Leroy signs extension as he, Sterling and Bernardo will all be competing for the Ballon d or soon

I feel that is the nail well and truly struck on the head

I highly doubt that he is but if Leroy thought that he has a better future elsewhere, he needs to look in the direction of Trafford.
We openly courted Sanchez, pogba and Fred. All were considered worthy targets by us. The drop in form, reputation and standing in the game has been monumental for those three.
A great manager with purpose and vision alongside a well run club is far more important ultimately than money and more appearances.

After Wednesdays performance and his multiple interviews afterwards I am more confident he will stay. His potential is scary and he is one of those rare footballers you just love to watch because of the pace and grace of his movement. Everyone criticised de Gaye for letting his goal in but it was hit with ferocious pace which is what did him. A Rolls-Royce of a footballer who will only improve.

He is only going to get better and improve under Pep ,although not always starting games he has had plenty of playing time

He certainly seemed happy enough in the post-match interviews, and didn't come across as someone agitating for a move. Still hopeful that he will extend his contract. It'd be madness to allow him to leave.
