Here’s one for you.

What’s worse, City sacking Mancini on FA Cup Final Day, or the NYT and UEFA attacking City on FA Cup Final Week?

If there’s one thing I will never forgive our owner and the club for, it was sacking Mancini on that Day.

Let it go, Mancini had lost the plot at that time, BUT it's water under the bridge.

Sorry to repeat myself but from Platini’s own mouth:

"It's mainly the owners that asked us to do something. Roman Abramovich, Silvio Berlusconi at AC Milan and Massimo Moratti at Inter," Platini said. "They do not want to fork out any more.“
Wouldn't the simple answer to them be well don't fork out anymore, and live within your clubs means?

Instead of inventing a devil in us & PSG and coming up with ridiculous set of rules, that don't actually do anything when you see clubs like Bolton and others going into administration every season. The whole thing is laughable in it's stupidity.

Ah I never noticed but it's clear from his Twitter and articles that he doesn't like us. Considering hes been banned for 7 years it hasnt affected his BBC career (nor has making widespread speculation about a recently deceased chairman either).

What a ****. Nothing surprises me with the beeb tho nowadays!
Corruption comes in many forms, pretty much like 'the Devil'. The BBC are by far, one of the worst organisations guilty at masquerading it's allegiances. Take that dirty, rotten c**t 'Jimmy Saville', did they not pull the curtains in on that one? For years covering for his deviance's whilst playing the morality card. Do us a favour, yer leftist, lying cock-wombles. Sign of the times i'm afraid, we must ride it out then give it to em!!

Don't leave
I want to know what your thoughts are as a neutral supporter of a lower league team
You're the fan who's being fed the information through the press/media
In your first post you used the phrase "financially doping" What is your understanding of that phrase and how long do you think it's been going on for with regard to Manchester City?

Don't you mean lower in the league team. Liverpool ;-)

The Dan Roan article indicates he has been fully briefed by UEFA employees/officials. This is clearly a breach of UEFA rules of confidentiality.
This is going to get very nasty, very very quickly.

i agree, nasty indeed, as the club's statement eluded to the breach, I hope we go full fkn Viking on uefa, and as noted above i hope this is the endgame and it culminates in the exposure to the point of having to scrap this unfair sanction to, ironically, penalize the teams who are in the least amount of position to go broke.

Which part suggests that?
I didn't see much that couldn't be compiled from known info in this case and past UEFA disciplinary actions (also known).

Failing all, a one year champs league ban isn't the end of the world, a transfer ban would be much more harmful. Either way, let's hope it's nothing and we take the fuckers to the cleaners.

Had a very interesting conversation last night with a guy who claimed he worked for a very reks for a very reportable nation news paper and he claimed that City's legal department has contacted Talksport to Express their concerns over two reporters who this season and last have made liable statements on air about the club and that City are considering taken legal action against both individuals and would welcome their input on how they allowed this to be aired on their radio station. I havent listened to this station for years but it's my understanding that after rushing to discuss the allegations leaked by the New York Timed but after UEFA released their statement the station had not mentioned anything further on the e matter, would welcome anybody who has heard anything about this also posting.

So when do we think G14 will decide when we are administered our medicine.
Will it be today or Monday I wonder.
Think it's going to be months yet, they managed to buy some time yesterday moving it up to a higher committee while they try to find something other than signing a couple of kids & dragging it all out allows the media to keep picking at us.

Given how they have run the club in the last 6 years since Mancini was sacked, I dont believe Khaldoon would have sacked Mancini that week unless it was absolutely necessary.

Neither. Their next shot will be their money shot and they'd better get it right.

If the intention is to ban us from the CL in the 20/21 season, they have time to consider the full implications of what they propose. They won't rush it.

I clearly hope and pray that we do but it’s really interesting that everyone assumes city will be cleared and/or bring down FFP. Not sure how people can be so confident that this is necessarily the case. UEFA must also think city have a case to answer, irrespective of the rights and wrongs of this.

I think UEFA are being pushed out of the room by the G14, they're dragging their heels it the bully14 are shouting at them as the push. Reluctantly they've got to tackle us, I just hope we go for the clubs behind the action as well as UEFA.

Viva the revolution.

Get over it, it was smelly, but it was the right thing to do.

You really think it was the right thing to do?

No it wasn’t

The day before, or on FA Cup Final Day, to sack the Manager, was absolute Madness.

All the club had to do was hold fire until after City won (or lost) the cup, and after the victory parade, and then later that Week after everything had settled down, they should have quietly, in-private, and with as little fuss as possible, and after negotiating terms with Mancini, sacked him.

You must be the only City who didn’t have their day ruined from the moment the sacking rumours started to gather pace around Wembley, until Wigan lifted the FA Cup.

Like many City fans I’ve witnessed numerous lows at City, and that was definitely one of them.

Anyway, back to topic.

F*** off UEFA, Gill, United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Bayern, Real Madrid, Barcelona, all the other cartel clubs and European football associations, mainly La Liga and the Bundesliga, who are trying constantly to f*** City over!
