All this breaks real world competition LAWS.........enough of footbal kangaroo courts.

Get it proved illegal in the real world.......football clubs are companies just like any other and should be treated as such.

Also set up our own tournament offering HUGE prize money.....invite certain big teams to play on dates that clash with champions league.
Totally devalue and de stabilise their prize asset.........that is why we have two world darts championships.5 world heavyweight titles.

Just do it.....they don't want us at their party.....that's ok we can invite to OUR own.....

Get Fifa on board or not?

By all accounts, Infantino and City are allies anyway

Apologies if this has been discussed already, but anyone read this. The Eurojust bit at the end is worrying.

The article is now a couple of months old. I noted this:

A little-known European Union agency called Eurojust is looking into the information released by Football Leaks with particular emphasis on “serious tax evasion, collective fraud, embezzlement, corruption and money laundering.”

Hmmmm....that doesn't sound like it only applies to us. I reckon with regards to tax issues, we're squeaky clean but other clubs might not be. Corruption could apply as much, if not more, to the likes of UEFA and their shitty cartel. And as for money laundering, well look no further than Liverpool's main sponsor. Is the money Liverpool receive from Standard Chartered clean or has it been run through a Candy washing machine several times?

I would doubt it applies to City at all. The owners have zero need to evade tax or embezzle anything, they literally part own their own jurisdiction and have money to burn. If there's one area where you can be pretty sure City are absolutely clean it's there.

“While Manchester City deals with repercussions of these investigations, there could be another brewing.

Seems clear to me what the Forbes article is insinuating here . I hope city have felt their collar too.

I’d be more worried if I were a club who say. Were registered in the caymen islands for example

Because they didn't try and get round it. They were "in you face" about their 200m per year sponsorship deal with the QTA. That was then downvalued to 100m then again down valued to 50m. Then UEFA still weren't happy and tried to open the investigation again, PSG immediately appealed to the CAS who told UEFA they couldn't reopen it.
That's well researched .So presumably the City Lawyers could argue that down valuing the Etihad company is completely arbitrary by UEFA ( via PricewaterhouseCoopers) and if PSG have been let off the hook by CAS then why should City be penalised since PSG seem to have been in the same situation that City are now in?

So you reckon like usual, it was convenient for the journo to link our name to it?

However, a new shirt sponsor, in light of our elevated status in recent years, must surely be worth the thick end of £60-£70m a year?

I'm sure this is where the next influx of commercial cash is coming from and that China will have a big part to play?
I'd probably die laughing if someone like Huawei offered us £100m, though currently they have links with arsenal (as well as a number of other clubs).

You need to get a dictionary and look up the word genuine.

Anyone should be allowed to post genuine posts on any forum but your 69 posts on red cafe have confused me somewhat. I couldn’t be arsed to go through them all so I’ve picked out three

4/4/19. (About City). “Leeds,Newcastle, Everton have much bigger following and are therefore bigger clubs for me.”

28/4/19. “Fecking embarrassing all the City love in here”

23/4/19. “Nah I’m a neutral with a slight leaning towards Liverpool if I’m honest. Mostly because feck City and their bottomless pit of cash ruining the PL.”

The last post is the one that really confused me when it’s put alongside your 1st post yesterday.

You slimey little fucking turd.

What a bellend. At least use a different username.

Yeah, that's my thinking too. And it's pretty poor form of Forbes to imply that it's solely aimed at City. Evading tax is a far more serious matter than breaching some arbitrary financial rules dreamed up by a footballing governing body as Glasgow Rangers will surely testify.

It will be piss funny if certain other clubs get implicated in that kind of shit because that will be a far bigger story than City and FFP. Rochdale versus United in League 2 anyone?

Interested in who you would invite assuming that the CL teams might not jump ship. Maybe an Inter or AC Milan would and potentially PSV, Celtic etc. Not the elite but certainly teams that would have sizeable home and away support.

Unless I'm very much mistaken, that list of offences doesn't look anything like the kind of shit City would pull or would need to pull. While I've no doubt we're not 100% perfect, I'd be astonished if we've been involved in tax evasion. Or money laundering. Or corruption. Certain other football clubs and people on the other hand.....

Pep Guardiola: “We’ve just won the Premier League and over the last three days everyone has just spoke about that [FFP ban]. We are innocent until proven guilty.”
“For human being it’s difficult to understand, but that’s what it is. I spoke with the chairman and the CEO, I know exactly what happened and what we did and I trust them.”

Pep to Juve it is then, now that Allegri is leaving!

Matt Scott (think that’s his name) on talksh*t moment ago to tell us that we’re awaiting a season long ban- not awaiting a decision on guilt or innocence, or any other possible sanctions.
He also informed us that Acas has never overturned a uefa decision.
Some mistake surely
