Wow, great photos. I’ve got that replica shirt that we had to queue up for at Maine Rd. I normally only wear it for Derby’s but you’ve inspired me mate I’m going to plonk it on tomorrow.
I might have to take it off when we get back to the hotel in Cricklewood, the Brighton game some silly bouncers tried to stop me going in a discotheque but god bless my eldest son, he told them I was a paraplegic and it worked for a while.

Yes but he shouldn't have to, should he ? He is always being put on the defensive press conferences by journos stirring the shit, digging and chipping away at the club. The constant negative line of questioning. Even then they mis-report what he actually says. They are snidey bastards the lot of them. Klopp's pressers, by comparison, are like having your mates round for a few beers and a laugh. The atmosphere is totally different and almost jovial. Like others have said, our PR team need to get tough and get the press brought to heel. Pep should be free to ignore any questions off limits and journos warned for the future if they stray.

It was the same with Pelegrini and Manchini. There is an underlying bias against our owners because of who they are. It will never change because there is a racist bias (perhaps unconscious) in a lot of the UK media. That said I agree that our PR people need to be tougher. I genuinely don't care about the result. Great if we win as no one has ever done the domestic treble, but we'll play that shower of cünts in the Charity Shield and to be honest it won't be a good day out. Lose and we're still Champions, Watford win the FA Cup which would be nice for them and we wouldn't meet those scummy cünts in London.

It would still be good to be the first ever team to win the domestic treble though......(I would fear for a lot of our fans in the Charity Shield though).
