FA Cup Final - Post Match Thread

The delay in delivering the verdict over who scored between Jesus and Sterling was the fault of VAR who spent the allotted time seeing if there was anyway it could have been disallowed

Well played boys, 6-0 in a cup final.
Watford fans were sound, talked to a few of them after the game

Played today without the pressure of the title race some great performances did anybody think Pep looked subdued at the end?

Elton John apparently had a pre-arranged concert in Copenhagen that was impossible to cancel and, therefore, could not be there to witness that performance, which I have to say rather takes the shine off the day for me.

his first tune at the next concert will be,
funeral for a friend.

some of Pep's comments after the game have been brilliant digs at Liverpool and Spurs...

especially ' it's harder to win this treble than the chumps league'

Let’s not look for BBC or BT being disappointed or making back handed comments, and lets not scrawl through RAWK and Redcafe at all the bitterness - let’s just drink in the absolute unbridled pleasure and joy at being the greatest team most of us will ever see. We are Manchester City and WE ARE THE BEST TEAM IN THE LAND!
Abso ficking lutely!

Still dining so not seen any tv. Has Vinny said owt?
Best team in the land and all the world.

I paraphrase.

"What a club, what a privilege," Kompany told BBC Sport.

"It started with the manager, he sets the standard at the start of the season and said we had to go back-to-back [Premier League titles].

"It's the best team in the world for me. To set such a high standard for so long - not just for one year but two years running now."
