City's New Kits - 2019/20

I've just messaged to ask. On footyheadlines website in May they showed a swatch/spoiler of the black colour way- which is what my friend has confirmed- and she's just text more details saying one of the sleeves has a salmon pink edge/hem and the other one is sky blue. sounds like a fight in a paint factory.

No sign of a third shirt yes- but on footyheadlines the other puma spoiler showed a yellow swatch with pink/peach trim- so I'm guessing that's accurate too.

Did he mention the home kit?

I’m in Turkey this week and we’ve bought this exact shirt. It’s lovely, even if it’s a shite copy. Also bought a kids one that came with blue shorts....

Much better than the black and pink number Ive seen kids here wearing. The pink is really pink too. Horizontal think pink stripes on a black shirt with pink sponsor and pink name/number on the the back.

This doesn’t prove they’re the actual designs, of course. But you never know. The home shirt is very 80s and if that’s it, I think Puma have done a great job.

*quote didn’t work, but it’s the one @Achillias posted on Sunday.
come on david, you know how this works... pictures pls!!

Don't sell it in the UAE then.

Or, are you saying the people there aren't reasonable enough to look at a shirt and not be incensed at seeing a cross? I'm fairly certain most people in Europe, and North and South America aren't angry or even upset when they see the crescent on Turkey's or Algeria's badge.

I'm not selling it anywhere.

I have no problem, but I'd be amazed if the Muslim owners of our club authorised that shirt.

Separate point - but Manchester City in its 125 years have never worn that shirt anyway.

You should be amazed a player is allowed to wear the name Jesus on his shirt. And yes, I know Islam recognizes The Jesus as a prophet.

Are you amazed our club's Muslim owner allows alcoholic beverages, be sold at matches? How about pulled pork sandwiches and BLT sandwiches in the Commonwealth Bar?
Or that the City web store sells City branded products for dogs? The Hadith says dogs are unclean.

I am mistaken that you are the same person a few months ago saying the Maltese Cross looked too "Nazi"?

Well said!

City was here before our owners and they know that and don't use their religion against our tradition.

And some will still criticise without actually even seeing the full real shirt/kit or even if it differs slightly from their own personal perfect image of a City kit.
Blue and white is not a "personal" choice, it's a bona-fide traditional one.

Nice try though, you're obviously Bluer than me. Well, bluer and more purple I should say.

Blue shirt.

White shorts.

We’ve worn a number home shirts in our history with no white on them.

Take this example from the holy Umbro...

Nice try, Gok.

hoping this isn't true. no agenda here, just a preference, but i dread having pink on our jerseys and have hated it on every jersey i have seen in top flight leagues.

And that shirt was shite too, what's your point?

Listen, you’re proper weird but I’ll engage.

We’re worn loads of home shirts in our history with no white on them. We’ve even had a couple over the last few years.

Since we’re getting a super traditional 125th anniversary home shirt, it looks like they want to try something a bit different with the home. It’s still a blue shirt. It’s white shorts.
