IMO Félix is no better than Phil. A player we don’t need right now for sure..tbh I think us being linked with Félix is a load of bull anyway..Sane isn’t going anywhere either so for me we don’t need any attacking options as we have enough already if nobody leaves, A defensive midfielder is a Must,and another centre half would be nice too and maybe another left back to replace Mendy as he’s a liability with his injuries and also when he’s defending.

It's not like we're just finding out the price now. If Ferran actually is meeting with Mendes it would certainly suggest that we're considering it and that this isn't a hard and fast rule we have.
 
There are a lot of variables and we're probably keeping options open. If they don't believe talks with Leroy will go well, he won't sign a new contract and Bayern are willing to pay £100m then there could be a case if Felix is willing to come on £60,000 a week or less we effectively break even without having to pay a player (Sane) a higher salary. Of course my first option would be to keep Leroy and have him sign, but we can't be 100% sure this will happen.

There's no way we'll pay the 'release' fee for this lad.
Khaldoon was proud of the fact we don't have a player in the top ten transfers.
He knows if we did now he would leave himself and the club open to ridicule from the baying masses.
 
If any of these rumours are true? Its only city doing there job, if Sane goes we need a replacement and city must believe this guy is the one to replace sane(if all rumours are true)
