Well there is no way we get him for a fee that won't be in that top 10 and Khaldoon knew full well he was on the radar. Don't think he's too fussed tbf.
 
Would selling Sane and getting Joao Felix be an up grade? Probably be a bit early to tell at the moment but I think it would give us a bit more balance with him being predominantly righ footed. Saying that I still wouldnt like to lose Sane.
 
The idea that we are gonna spend north of 100mil on a kid from Portugal is for the birds as far as I am concerned. Can't see it happening
 
not a prayer this is happening for 100 mill. Much better out there for that kind of money. I get the whole 19 and talent and all that but 100 mill is a risk and what i have seen on the videos nothing makes me think WOW. I would much rather we spend an extra 70 mill and go for Mbappe which won't happen either.

Probably nearer another £150 mill to go for Mbappe.

Me too. I think we like the player but can’t see us going anywhere near 100m. I wonder whether anyone at United has reflected on their obsession of beating us to targets and the disastrous consequences it’s brought them. United will probably spend more shipping players out this summer than signing them and as much as that will hurt them - they’ll know that those in the Boardroom are responsible. Hard lessons being had. Might get an easier run at a few of our targets as a result. If Woodward has any sense (and I’m not sure he does) if we value the player at circa £70m that’s probably what he’s worth.

Think its an option if we Sane leaves we use that money so be like swap deal but one player where we know can do the business and another one where they’ll be question marks just because the premier league is a very hard league.
 
Benfica are desperate to give him a contract extension so they can increase his buy out clause. His own club know they've got the real deal with Felix.

Now is the time for us.

Maybe if he went this summer, which he won't. I don't think anyone will buy him for 2 more years so as his contract starts to run down think he'll become a bit more affordable and he'll still only be 22. Hopefully Felix has a similar ceiling and we can get in now even at £100mill.
