Don't talk to me about going for a pint or a piss, I remember when you could go on holiday for a fortnight and come

If Liverpool beat Chelsea in the super cup in August they will play in the club World Cup some time in December this will surely have an impact on their league form

This is what happens when you have two teams in the final who had finished 3rd and 4th the season before to qualify for the ‘Champions League’, and your competition allows them to lose a third of their games and still get to the final.

Sprinkle VAR on top and voila.

Tbf UEFA must’ve been extremely disappointed with the game as a spectacle and as an event. It was the dampest of squibs. Had a very preseason esque feel and the atmosphere was almost funereal.

It's a bit early to be worrying about their league form and what might affect it. Get our transfer business right, keep KDB fit and ease Foden in and no one else's league form is going to matter much.
