João Félix

This MEN talk of some team offering less but loaning back for 1 year have any credence? Sounds like something City might do as he’s probably not needed just yet.

This could be like when we offered 40m for Mbappe before he'd even played a major game. It seemed a ridiculous suggestion at the time - now not so much.

Imo Felix is a Kaka level talent. Big fee but lowish wages could end up being one the smartest moves we make as we approach a time where we need to phase out Aguero and David.

I don't think he is THAT impressive but he is a talent, he either goes for his release clause now or goes next summer after potentially a great Euros and Mendes will get an even bigger slice.

This guy’s potential suggests he will, eventually, reach levels approaching Messi and Ronaldo.

You think he's going to be one of the best players ever? Based on what?

This is was what Messi was doing at 19

From what I’ve seen, i’d put his pace as something quicker than Eriksen but slower than Mané.

He doesn't appear, to me, to have anything close to the acceleration or pace with the ball, of Messi & not on the same planet as Ronaldo, therefore, to be as good, he would have to be even better on the ball & as both were better when they first appeared, as kids I don't see how he could ever be so good.

Sané on the other hand, could still belatedly reach something like Ronaldo level (minus the headers) by playing more often central & taking more responsibility for scoring.
