From what I’ve seen, i’d put his pace as something quicker than Eriksen but slower than Mané. What has got everybody talking is his positional sense/space creation, his ball control and his ability to score goals from 20/30 yds.

He doesn't appear, to me, to have anything close to the acceleration or pace with the ball, of Messi & not on the same planet as Ronaldo, therefore, to be as good, he would have to be even better on the ball & as both were better when they first appeared, as kids I don't see how he could ever be so good.

Sané on the other hand, could still belatedly reach something like Ronaldo level (minus the headers) by playing more often central & taking more responsibility for scoring.
