With David Silva leaving after next season then we should bring Bruno in now if possible with a likely transfer ban coming. Merlin should play less next season anyway to be honest.

Still think this deal may materialize. The details sound plausible and Bravo, Danilo, Mangala, and Luiz could be makeweights. Might be a bit of Sporting media posturing , especially given our ties, who wouldn’t want to see their star player leave on the ‘cheap’ when Benfica are set to rake it in for their starlet. This deal arguably smells much more like a City deal than many of the others on here.
