More guff.

1. Graeme Sourness speaks out.
2. Liverpool have had a sensational season.
3. And ...... Pep Guardiola’s side secured back-to-back titles even though Liverpool only lost one league game in 2018-19.
4. And there in bold is the continuing narrative. Not City, but Pep’s side. And Liverpool only lost one league game.

It’s so obvious!

Daily Express.

Why Man City are NOT the biggest threat facing Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool - Graeme Souness
MANCHESTER CITY are not the biggest danger to Liverpool in the near future - Real Madrid and Barcelona are.

The Reds capped off a sensational season with a Champions League triumph over Tottenham in Madrid last Saturday.
Cant see Barca or Real winning the PL next year.

Absolutely it matters. These guys should not allowed to post shit without someone countering it. Rabin is doing a good job of that. They will not change their mind, but people reading their shit need to see another side of the argument.
Correct!

I think it’s fair comment. Liverpool have been a feeder club to bigger Spanish clubs.

Marvin, every single press conference that pep does he asks really bitter, inappropriate questions, you really should base your opinion on that,he is a cockcroah and you have just helped him make some money by posting his shite on here,if you respect that then i despair

Nice post lady, but what exactly is a cockcroah

Here's an interview with the BBC's Simon Stone on a Manchester United fan's YouTube channel. I've put it here because you can learn something about Simon Stone the journalist. I've watched similar in the past with Jamie Jackson and Henry Winter and none of them seem to have any more about them than any other fan, but Simon Stone really does know what he's talking about. He makes the very obvious points about what has happened at Man Utd post Fergie but you can see that he has some insight.

I have seen a lot of City fans comment negatively about Simon Stone's work on the BBC, or when they see him at City press conferences but journalists aren't there to promote the club, they are there to ask awkward questions.

I think Simon Stone may have been given an unfair ride in the past by City fans just because he was a prominent journalist and it's a guilt by association. I'll read his stuff in the future with a bit more respect.

I've taken out the link as I don't want blues clicking.
Marvin your awareness of Stones is severely lacking, he's nothing more than a United fan boy masquerading as a football reporter.

Uh-oh, have wandered into unknown territory...

Makes you wonder why so many people say we are owned by a nation state, doesn’t it, rather than it being pointed out that we are owned by one man who will take serious account of the views of others before making decisions. It’s almost as if deliberate misstatements of fact are ignored and the actual truth is not reported because it would spoil the narrative...

It's pure Goebbels. Repeat a lie often enough so that it becomes the truth.

When charged by UEFA we were all over the main news, sports news etc for weeks, even our parade was full of it.

We by going to CAS have essentially 'charged' UEFA & nothing not even local sports news. This is potentially bigger news and certainly could blow the whole footie world into bits.

Not surprised but another instance of bias that hopefully very few of us and the media deny happens.

Possibly because it's only got the AP tweet to go from - no confirmation from club, UEFA or CAS officially (or not that I've seen); an Italian tweet suggested later this week (I think) was UEFA's timing to announce what they were going to do, and this may pre-empt that.

I don't think it will blow football open - it's an appeal, apparently against due process failings, which happens in court cases when appropriate. If they can get it thrown out, then the club have never been charged over this.

The AP bits don't stop negative stuff being pushed everywhere.

As for blowing footie wide open, integrity is a big thing, now I know nobody is 100% clean but if it's shown as we suspect UEFA have been under the control of G14 or even just corrupted beyond repair a new governing body would indeed blow footie apart.

Ah, I see what you mean. I understood something different by what would cause the change. That would certainly be news, but I'm not sure there is much better than the current situation, based on where we are - look at cricket which is totally controlled by the biggest three, and rugby union where the English clubs are constantly bleating for more.

I don't think UEFA are under control of G14. I just think they are being pressured by constant demands - clubs and broadcasters - and haven't found a way out of it yet. It's not quite the same thing. Influenced, yes; controlled, no.

I don't put it at Ceferin's door, I think it's been ingrained for years, ever since they started mucking around with the CL structure at the behest of the cash-hungry.
