Answer - 'Cos we should be playing Watford! The main title domestically is the PL. We won that so our place at the CC is secured. We play the winners of the FArce Cup. As we won it, and the FArce won't let us play ourselves, we should play the runners-up - who were Watford. I don't know whether Watford were asked, but I should imagine some apparatchik at the FArce had a free ticket to Wembers last month and maybe saw a repeat, which wouldn't produce a good omen for the coming season, so the game is hi-jacked by the Dippers who get another free shot at turning us over! I'd like to see the transcript where it was decided. Is there a precedent of League and Cup Doubles ending up with winners and runners-up of the league playing each other?
I think you are trying to be sarcastic. I went to 40 games last season and loved virtually all of them and lived and breathed the season like everyone else. But I don't enjoy Wembley much - I am entitled to my opinion. Next year if we get to the Fa Cup final I am going to watch at home with the family. I will be as happy as any person in that stadium if we do it. The whole Wembley experience leaves me cold. I couldn't even get a meat and potato pasty in Greggs this season for goodness sake!

is that what they tell people ffs.The proceeds from the game are distributed to community-based initiatives and charities around the country. Revenue from the gate receipts and match programme sales is distributed to the 124 clubs who competed in The FA Cup from the First Round onwards, for onward distribution to charities and projects of their choice, while the remainder is distributed to the FA's national charity partners.
Pep considers it a trophy worth winning so if it’s good enough for him then I’ll be at Wembley again
This forum will be a wretched place if we don't have a variety of opinions! I've enjoyed all my visits to Wembley apart from one! But it is a bugger of a place. Tube from North London, fucking helluva a walk from and back to WP station, all that kettling on Olympic Way! Good job we win more 'n we lose. It'd be a fucker of a day as that one where I got pissed wet through going back to the coach which was only parked 150 yards away!
He is entitled to his opinion. And imo is bang on the button.Wembley leaves me cold too.If you hate to say it why do you bother saying It?
Your posts have become a huge chore and add nothing positive or useful to the subject matter.

A mate who isn't itk says he's heard it's because Liverpool are trying to arrange a premium friendly, possibly against Napoli, at Anfield on Tuesday 6th. Disgraceful if true.If it's a Thursday are we having a Friday night PL opener, and if so is it us???
