I was in Madrid last Saturday, and to be fair, every Liverpool fan I met was respectful and decent. They had a few irritating banners, but the whole.mood appeared good natured.
In contrast, the only time I sensed trouble was immediately after the 2nd goal when the Tottenham fans started leaving the bars.
I suspect the Community Shield will be similar with both sets of fans mixing without too much hassle, in contrast to the pre-match clickbait vitriol, which the media will undoubtedly encourage with tale after tale of low ticket sales.
We should also remember that the demographics are completely different at the Community Shield with less idiots and a higher proportion of day trippers.
