This kind of hesitant behaviour from Sane, right or wrong, leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I don't want a player here unless he is 100% happy, dedicated, and frankly fucking grateful for being a part of this wonderful club. It doesn't matter if he is potentially a top notch player or not.
If he is willing to stay just because of the money, then I see no reason why his attitude on the pitch and traing ground would all the sudden improve. If it does, then that says a lot about his character, and it's not very flattering.

The desire to win doesn't come from pay checks.

Did you feel the same about Sterling during his prolonged contract negotiations ?

I don't think we are prepared to wait until the season starts, with the risk of a ban next summer it could leave us with a choice of selling next summer and not able to replace him or lose him in two years for nothing. If he doesn't sign soon think he goes this summer.
so the leverage seems to be with leroy.
we do know that his side is stalling the talks.
but what exactly are they stuck on?
obviously they don't like what's been offered
and seems the club doesn't evaluate Sane like mommy does.

The old saying if he’s not happy cash in!! Their was little city before Leroy and they’ll be little City afterwards

It may be money but I suspect it’s not. This next contract covers the most important 5 years of his career. I think its down to whether he thinks it’s best served with us and whether he believes he can establish himself as a first choice or whether he's better off elsewhere probably Bayern were its probably easier for him to replace Robben and Riebery and be under the national teams noses.
In the end I don't think Bayern will pay enough and he’ll decide to resign with us, then it will be be down to him to kick on.

No I did not, of course not, as Sterling always gave his all to the team, acted like a true professional and for that he played, and performed and by doing so warranted his new improved deal.

ha! good angle! he's basically on strike, call his bluff and lock him out.
He isn’t “on strike” you plank, as far as anyone can tell he is negotiating a contract, which is nothing to do with being on strike. When he is selected to play or to come on as a sub, like at the swamp, as far as I can see he gives his all. On strike my arse
