Yep, I agree. The sooner we get him in the sooner he can get embedded in the squad. He probably would take a backseat in his first season, similar to the Bernardo's first seasonTake immediately of course. Players need months to learn Pep's system, so his 1st season would be an adaptational one anyway, remember Bernardo.
200 kilos? Are we paying benfica in coke?
Guardiola, for João Félix: The City offers a salary of 30 million for 5 years
In the last hours, the City has put on the player's table a huge offer. João Félix now earns 1.5 million euros a year, a salary that Benfica has wanted to improve as long as it points to a renewal with a new clause of 200 "kilos". However, the player does not want to renew and Manchester City, to finish making it decide, has made a dizzying offer to the playmaker: he will pay an annual salary of 6 million euros net for 5 seasons. That is, a salary of 30 million for five years. A salary that is not within the reach of Real Madrid, Atlético, Juventus or United itself, which did not go beyond offering a chip between 2.5 and 3 million clean a year.
The offer, really good, is already on the table of João Félix And perhaps it is what ends up convincing the young pearl definitively. For its part, the Benfica sends any movement to the termination clause, but Manchester City continues to negotiate, and met several times with Luis Felipe Viera, the president "embodied" and has made an offer above 100 million to get that the player leaves Portugal and ends this summer in the Premier League. Time will tell, but no one can doubt that the City is the best placed club to sign a player who is revolutionizing the market and has a promising future. The City wants to burst the bank and Guardiola could have a new star for his "citizen" sky.
When I read it my first thought was, fuck we’re buying lumpkakku200 kilos? Are we paying benfica in coke?
City ruining the drug trade since 2019
€30m over 5 years would that affect our wage structure
I’m not going to get excited about this one as I just don’t see how we can afford him and most of the Portuguese papers reporting the deal is close have been proven to be full of shit when it came to Bruno fernandes.
We are hoping to sign a replacement for fern for around £60 mil, a cb to replace Kompany which will cost at least £60 mil and seemingly in for Cancelo for £40 mil or so.
I see felix as a luxury we sadly cannot afford especially with all the attacks on the club at the moment.
I don’t think so. It’s about £5m a year or 100k a week. If you believe what you read Sergio, Merlin, KDB and maybe some others are making way more than that.€30m over 5 years would that affect our wage structure
We don't want to start upsetting players
100k a week? It's Lingard's salary at United.I don’t think so. It’s about £5m a year or 100k a week. If you believe what you read Sergio, Merlin, KDB and maybe some others are making way more than that.
I suspect the 100k would be his basic and would be supplemented by bonuses.
