You can never stand still even if you win the league, poor recruitment the summer after we've won it 2012,2014 has cost us dearly. If Otamendi, Danilo, Delph, and possibly Sane leave adding Vinny to the list, two new additions possibly wouldn't be enough. We'll have to wait and see.I think City will spend what is deemed necessary. If we are not spending it is because we think our squad is good enough / will not improve with the possible new additions.

The market isn’t different, there has always been and will always be exceptions to the general spending pattern. Yes the average prices are increasing, no one is doubting that at all but it’s linear and just a continuation from the past 20/30 years. Yes you’ll still get the odd player going for double the market value (Neymar/Mbappe/Ronaldo) but they are the exceptions, not the rule.
I’d you think Ronaldo to Juve has worked out you’re a fool, you even mention Hazard in that list who hasn’t even kicked a ball in a Madrid shirt, so it’s hard to take you seriously.
Value for money is still out there, top class players are still out there and we will bring them in when everything aligns. There’s no mad rush because we don’t need to rush. We’ve just won a double followed by a treble, we have a young squad with a couple of older leaders who have their replacements already here in most cases and we’re building them up to take over their roles. That’s how sensible businesses work and operate, never mind just football.

We have Jesus who will take the main striker role once aguero goes! Aguero is one of like yaya was we will adapt of course! Bottom line you trust the club, they've done alright last 10 years havent they?

Well the only ones that are currently shouting out at me are Mbappe and Kane. João Felix could be a player who could be moulded into a mini Aguero.
I just find it hilarious how people disregard the signing of Kane. He's a world class striker with a proven track record.
Just to add to that we have a track record (albeit very recent) of developing players who are on the edge of becoming world class players actually become world class players and improving their game beyond expectations in some regards. When we signed Sterling we all know the story, look at him now. De bruyne is another (Chelsea reject bollocks) now he’s the best midfielder in world football in my opinion. Bernardo again, similar story of being good in a poor league and becoming a superstar. Ederson is now rated as one of the best goalkeepers in the world, Laporte the same at centre back.
Kane is a Dzeko type player wont suit our play yep he is an excellent goal scorer his goal record speaks for itself! Mbappe is the player out there that Id say fits us! I think if Mbappe wanted to come to us we would pay the money! But Mbappe didnt want us he made his choice.
