Sane is the priority for us.
Yep when he is back of holiday need to get all his negotiators locked in a room and get it sorted one way or another.
Sane is the priority for us.
Maguire has always impressed me tbh.
Big lump but has good ball skills, can bring it out, dangerous at corners and good at defending corners and when balls are lumped into our bx.
I think it gives us another dimension at Centre Half where we can use Laporte / Stones at home and Maguire away at places like mid lower table teams like Palace / Brighton / Rags etc where the only option they end up with is to lump the ball forward Maguire will mop that style of attack up more than our more 'elegant' centre halves.
You are right about improving the starting 11 but it will improve the depth and quality of the squad. Not many players out there that would improve our starting 11 at momentGood window but brilliant no.
Angelino, Riesgo are back ups so will leave them out of it.
Rodri is a great signing as we need a body in that position and he fits the bill. Cancelo is a good player who gives Walker a break now and again. As far as Maguire is concerned the jury will remain out. Not fair to compare him with Vinny who he will be replacing so I won´t.
But it looks like a transfer window for a team that already has a wonderful set of players rather than a transfer window that will immediately improve the starting XI. Apart from Rodri, possibly, I don´t see any of these guys in the years ahead attaining the status of VK, DS, Yaya, Kun, Kev, Bernardo, Raheem et al.
We won’t be saying that if we cop a transfer ban. This summer we get the players we need just in caseUnless we're signing a potential superstar like De Ligt, I don't see any great need for another centre back. Stones, Laporte and Otamendi are excellent and we have solid cover in Fernandinho, Walker, Garcia and Sandler. Maguire has too many limitations to warrant such an astronomical fee.
Assuming Danilo, Gundogan, Otamendi and Sane stay, I'd be satisfied with just Rodri this summer.
If i was im charge of our club i'd refuse to do any business with them as we all know it's them that put that Der Speigel s**te into the spotlight out of jealously as Pep left them for us.Especially with Bayern's players spewing shit
Sane is the priority for us.
Scored a last minute equaliser against United the season before too. Sign him up!He arguably had one of the most crucial and biggest says in our title win last season.
It was Maguire who scored the goal to earn a draw at Anfield, the day after we were down and out at Newcastle.
For that reason alone, it's a big fucking yes for me.

But what if stones and Laporte both have long term injury as per kdb last year. Would you be confident with Garcia and sander into back 4 with otamendi (if still here and focused)? I’m guessing Pep wouldn’t bePersonally don't think we need a CB as the club may think. From what I've seen Eric Garcia and Sandler could step up this season with more games, they play the way we like to play and seem to have intelligence positionally.
Maguire could be money spending for the sake of it, like we did when we brought in Santa Cruz and Bony. Convert Fernandinho into a CB and job done. Keep faith in what we already have.
Someone being brought in at 65m won't want to sit on the bench. He will be a first teamer, I'm sure Rodri could be converted into a CB given training. He's seems another Javi Martinez from what I've seen. But what if stones and Laporte both have long term injury as per kdb last year. For do’s citizen, personally I think pep knows otamendi off or is planning a system change, but who knows.Someone being brought in at 65m won't want to sit on the bench. Yes, I would be confident in Eric Garcia. Kids make mistakes but so can older senior pro's. He's never really put a foot wrong in the games I have seen him and looks as assured as a young Centre Back can considering his age. Sandler also needs games and time to show his worth, he obviously has potential and seems to be a very intelligent lad with an eye for a pass. We will never know their true potential unless we put the trust into these players. It's exactly what Pep did with Kimmich and Zinchenko, Klopp did with Trent and Gomez and Fergie did with Scholes, Beckham and Neville.
I'd guess he want to go as he was reconsidering whether to stay after Kompany went. Or maybe he's said he still wants to go and that's why we are trying to bring in a replacement. Either way I'd expect him to go when he gets back from the Copa. Would be quite happy with Stones, Maguire, Laporte, Sandler, Garcia and Fernandinho. So what's happening with Otamendi if we're signing Maguire?
Good job it wasn't Wes Morgan that scored that goal then!
