Alexandole Boris de Pfeffel Johnson

That’s the other thing about Johnson. He’s a fucking spineless ****.

That’s the only thing stopping him becoming PM. If his arse properly goes and he loses the plot. Can’t rule it out tbf.

When you only have 0.2% of the total electorate voting for him, when that 0.2% where more than likely brought up on the stories of Bertie Wooster and his jolly japes its not really a surprise he is favourite. He has hoodwinked the brextremists into believing in unicorns for his own selfish pursuit of power. Apart from being a spineless ****, he is also an inveterate liar, serial womaniser and the least small C conservative prospective leader in history.

When even the likes of Simon Heffer and Matthew Parris warn the nation about him you have to worry about the consequences. He is ill suited to the job, he is known to be lazy, ill informed and reliant on others to succeed. Its that inbuilt sense of entitlement that concerns me, he uses it in a Trumpian manner to appeal to a narrow base whilst not giving two fucks about the working class, the working class are irritants to the likes of him. We should know our place and tug our forlocks in defference to his magisterial demeanour.

Oh! and he is a ****

The Johnson plan to leave the EU, as approvingly endorsed by hardline Brexiteer S Baker, involves a lot of ‘mettle’ and stirring stuff which I am convinced the EU who rely on burying the other side in realms of technical details, rules and legal points will be suitably impressed by. It’s like charging a tank on a bike armed with a broom handle. I mean it’s fucking embarrassing.

BorisJohnson⁩ writes
“We are going to show all the mettle, the creativity and the energy of this amazing nation. We are going to focus all our efforts on honouring that single great promise – and we are going to come out of the EU on October 31.”

It worked well in the first world war when we put the cavalry against the German Maxim Gun ...............oh wait

You're not about to be the PM. It does matter.

And you're wrong. We never row. Like the old bloke who said they'd never had a row in 60 years and they asked him the secret to a happy marriage and he said, "Yes dear".

Ha we dont row very often, but i still dont think it matters and do you really think the couple that rang the police did so out of genuine concern? I dont.

I find myself in a quandary.

Boris being PM is an utter embarrassment for the UK, globally.

However, he also seems the best way of Brexit being destroyed, as he is so utterly spineless and will cave in to any pressure.

Hunt is a ****. Hunt is also intelligent and considered and would map out a path for us leaving.

Boris will get to Halloween and fold.

I hope someone rolls a Trojan horse to Downing Street on leaving day.

Agree, Hunt would be my choice only by default as it can be seen that he could not be trusted with the NHS, and is equally as much from a privileged background as Boris (so cannot relate to the majority of the population).

But, he seems more statesman-like and there is not much to damage his reputation compared to Boris's personal life.7

Also, he is a qualified referee (just thought I'd get that in there)

I agree to some extent and have said the same previously but Johnson is so inept that it would be an utter embarrassment having him as PM.
I actually think Hunt would end up pushing through the WA with a confirmatory public vote. It will be all about the messaging and PR whether it destroys the Tory Party. It might actually save them if there is an overwhelming vote to reject the WA and remain.

I'm right behind him tbh. Try to bugger off by Halloween will you?

I and other Leavers on here have agreed that the situation really is a shocking affront to democracy

But it is what it is in the here and now of 2019 - so I guess that we will just have to live with it

Well of course you don’t. I also assume you don’t believe the concern of the other neighbours and that you just loved the photo special of the two lovebirds cooing in the Mail today even though no one is buying the fact that it was taken yesterday or any day recently.

We've had that shocking affront to democracy 11 times in the last 100 years out of 22 times when the PM has changed. That's 50%.
The main difference this time is that they're about to appoint a buffoon.

Agreed - but as I say - it is what it is in the here and now of 2019 - so I guess that we will just have to live with it

Perhaps the parties can change their procedures for the future to prevent it happening again
