My son was one of those not helped; he had left his job shortly before lockdown have secured a contract to cater for a German company owner with an estate in Ayrshire; the family were locked down in Germany and so didn't come over. His previous company wouldn't furlough him (though they could have) and he struggled to get even universal credit. Fortunately he had savings (and refused our help) and moved down to Salisbury to his girlfriends.How does Johnson think thats even acceptable to simply deny what is happening - as I say they seem hellbent on pissing off a lot of natural Tory voters
After a few months he was able to find a job (from 300 applicants) heading up a unit supplying fine dining to private air flights. His "clients" have included Liverpool FC and United as they have gone on European flights. As the travel restrictions tightened they expanded their fine dining at home operations and have been kept very busy.
