I think they’ve upped their game as a live act. Their new tracks from this year’s album help. I think they’re now genuinely the undisputed greatest electronic act of all time. Their set last night was incredible!Good to hear. Seeing them at the 02 in a couple months
That Jean Micheal Jarre fellow is going to be knocking on your door!I think they’ve upped their game as a live act. Their new tracks from this year’s album help. I think they’re now genuinely the undisputed greatest electronic act of all time. Their set last night was incredible!
Me too Mate, I love the dancing the lead singer does in friendly fires, there's something really intoxicating about it plus they got some damn fine songs too.Amen to that, The Killers weren’t messing about with that performance. Liam was a bit hot and cold with his performance but Johnny Marr earlier was worth a watch.
There’s not much good music about at the moment and a lot of the acts they have on are radio one shite pop, suppose it’s to keep the lemmings happy who buy a ticket for Glastonbury just so they can spend a few months before and during the festival reminding everyone they are going on social media. Lewis Capaldi? What a load of shite and I can understand why the senior Gallagher thinks that.
Anyways I will stop being Victor Meldrew, looking forward to The Cure and the Friendly Fires tonight.
They certainly stepped it up after a slow start. Disappointed there was no Setting SunI think they’ve upped their game as a live act. Their new tracks from this year’s album help. I think they’re now genuinely the undisputed greatest electronic act of all time. Their set last night was incredible!
There’s as much good music about now as there ever has been. It’s just that the music industry only pushes the shite pop stuff and clicky rap shite that sells the most to the masses. So you just have to dig a bit deeper which I think isn’t a bad thing. There’s not much good music about at the moment

1971 doesn’t agree with this post. There’s as much good music about now as there ever has been. It’s just that the music industry only pushes the shite pop stuff and clicky rap shite that sells the most to the masses. So you just have to dig a bit deeper which I think isn’t a bad thing.
Incredible set, they smashed it to pieces. And agree with what you said about the new tracks adding loads. For a band to have released one of their best ever albums after 25 years is pretty damn impressive. Seeing them at the arena in November. Normally don't rate that place, but bet they will be fantastic there.Fucking hell, did anyone watch The Chemical Brothers? They tore Glastonbury a new one! Immense
Think I might just do that. Wasn't they on some kind of hiatus? Seems they've not been on the scene for a while. They have a new album coming out this summer which has been a long time coming, saw them at the Apollo back in 2011 and they proper rocked it. If they announce some tour dates I’d recommend going.

Was impressed with his show last night. He seemed to be giving it full on axe hero.Johnny Marr: "Let's play a disco song from Manchester, England, Europe". Fuck of Morrissey.
