Glastonbury 2019

Thought Stormzy clearly gave it everything, but only his biggest supporters would say that was successful. As I said when he was announced he just doesn't have the back catalogue, and he didn't space out his more well known ones - just played them in a row at the end. The crowd was uninvolved and appeared largely uninterested for the first 90 mins.
I’m not sure how you gained that from the bbc footage unless you were actually at Glastonbury in which case ignore this post.

The crowd look fully engaged to me. The songs aren’t sing-a-longs like the Carpenters but youngsters these days clearly love him.

Watching it this morning and it’s the 1st time I’ve ever been watching Glastonbury and my kids have come to watch it with me. One 18 and one 12.

I reckon that most people didn’t know most of Pulp’s songs in 1996 but it was one of the most iconic performances ever.

I can imagine my Dad posting this had bluemoon been around when Prodigy first played Glastonbury.
You’re definitely wrong on Pulp, their singles were staples on the radio, it was a brilliant set though.

Rap music has been around for a long time but it’s marmite, I personally hate it, I just don't get it. Prodigy were not my music as well but at least they played music that was recognisable.

Punk and New Wave was my era but I like loads of different music, would love to see a bit more of Idles and Fontaine DC based on last nights short airing on the BBC.
