I'm surprised United haven't taken a punt on Howe. He's worked wonders at Bournemouth and has them playing good football.

I really think Howe needs a bigger challenge. And when Utd realise Solskjaer is a busted flush I will not be surprised if they go for Howe. It's only a matter of time before the rags appoint a manager who will take them forward.

I'd have Ole stay there at least 5 years though; )

I am really struggling to see a way forward for them, they are in need of a full re-boot and the fans just won't have the patience to allow it. They really could go the same way as the dippers did for so many years. They really need a solid 5 - 10 year plan and the first stage should be a DOF, they then need a hungry talented manager prepared to fuck this "united way" right off. The signings of Wissaka and the Welsh lad are a step in the right direction but little more, there is no long term planning and they are lurching from one philosophy to another depending which way the wind blows. The best business for them would be to sell Pogba, Lukaku and DeGea, i would say Sanchez as well but where would they find a buyer? All the signs indicate that they are trying to move them on with the exception of DeGea but unless they have a plan for the future any money they make will be frittered away.

Perhaps the full quote was that he gets the club merch as part payment of his salary, making him nice and cheap?
Valid reason considering what they’re wasting elsewhere...
 
The likes of leicester & wolves must be rubbing their hands this coming season at how shit utd really are, they could end up 8th or 9th hopefully :)
 
I know some on here would like us to take credit for their fall from 'grace', but whilst we have played our part, I think they are shit and incompetent and it would have happened anyway. I feel a tad disappointed, if I'm honest!
Empire's come and go, of course - and they've just gone!
All I have is a warm glow - but that could be something else. Ha ha.
 
They have a long way to fall yet.

they are that arrogant that they cant see it,win a couple of games and they are back doing it "the united way", the press are that far up their arses they get giddy at a win, and like an ageing movie star they want to here how great they are and were , they don't want to hear how out of date they are , may their arrogance continue as they slide into an ever sinking shithole , fuck em
