Flight to China cancelled again!

None of the 26-man travelling squad or the management team got as far as the airport tonight. City have already had to push back a press conference due to take place tomorrow morning UK time.

Manchester City's plane to China has been rescheduled for a second successive day. The same "unforeseen administrative issue" that saw yesterday's flight cancelled is also the cause for the club not flying out today.

The club are hoping to fly out to China tomorrow but do not yet know when, however they are confident that they will still be able to compete in the Premier League Asia Trophy. [@ManCityMEN]

They will have to learn the lesson. Close pre season camp somewhere in Scotland on a golf course, or Portugal maybe. Quick travel, no 10 hour flights, no media fickfuck, just hard work for the squad, intense training to get them ready. Of course less media exposure, less income from friendly games but surely much better quality somewhere closer than travel so far for training and playing 3 games vs lot lesser squads.

This kinda shit never happened when we played Macclesfield in pre-season.
